And after I mixed and simmered it all with 6 types of cheese:
Make some delicious yams today. I usually go through this whole production of skinning, chopping, and baking them in seasoning. Today, I just poked holes in one, threw it in the oven for an hour on 400F, then pushed it out of the skin and mashed it. A bit of cinnamon and butter made it amazing.

Some pan seared cod with a sweet/spicy cream sauce. Salad of mixed greens, mushrooms, tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and a ginger dressing.
Cod is just too fishy for me. I also donāt care for the texture. Should have made this with tilapia instead.
Cod tastes best when baked, frying is also a good option but because itās low in fat and flakes easier than most white fish pan searing it is tricky and doesnāt taste as good IMO.
Need an idea.
A few nights ago, my wife had a penchant for chicken pot pieā¦but she wanted it on rice or somethingā¦soā¦
A couple nights ago I made deconstructed pot pieā¦over biscuits. It was greatā¦but I had a TON of left oversā¦soā¦
Last night I got oven bake lasagna pasta, roasted red pepper alfredo, garden style Ragu, and ricatta cheese, and made 2 different types of lasagna using the left over mixture as the meat/veggie baseā¦soā¦
I have left over sauce (I used individual serving containers for each type) and cheese, so I mixed them together, ricotta, garden tomato sauce, and roasted red pepper alfredoā¦I mixed it al ltogether to make a creamy white sauce. I was thinking of cooking some ground up turkey with it, but I dunno what I should do with it - I donāt want to do pasta. Iād treat it like I would any afredo sauce or tomato sauce, but I need some type of dish that uses either of thoseā¦help a playa out.

use its as a marinade/topping/gravy for chicken breastā¦w/ asparagus, risotto, spinach⦠if your trying to avoid pasta (though alfredo really needs a starch) in a sense work a veggie (stuff some yellow bell peppers wit that chicken breas n sauce?) Alfredo is essentially a cheese gravy for ya so you can work it how ya want but its hard to avoid a āpastaā
eah - I know its hard, thats why Iām asking for ideas, its a head scratcher. It more than likely would function well as a graavy if you will for some chicken. Maybe Iāll do a spin on how Amber likes to do her āstuffed chickenā, and top it off with the sauce, zucinni mash, and a carbā¦
Orā¦
Hmmā¦she said on Sunday she wanted Nachosā¦maybe if I inject some more cheese I can do the ground turkey thing with it and get some more toppings and make a ānachosā dinner. Only problem is I donāt really like NAchos like that, but its an idea.
So Nachoesā¦or stuffed chickenā¦Nachoes owuld be easier and cheaperā¦naw about the same priceā¦stuffed chicken is prolly healthier, though Iām still adding cheese haha.
Hmmā¦

Jamaican Jerk style chili, the aroma coming off of this is making me wet. As always, my better recipes are improvised and I didnāt write the shit down. Banana Pudding for dessert to cool down with.

I am curious how you made that jamaican jerk style chili.
Well I knew I wanted to make chili, so I bought the meat, beans, and sauce. I started by sauteing some chopped green onions in one pan and browning the meat in a pot. Once the onions were done I added them to the meat and started seasoning it. From what I remember I but in fresh basil, fresh parsley, chile pepper, salt, dry mustard, garlic powder, thyme, allspice, brown sugar, ginger, worcestershire sauce, and I think some paprika. Once I had it completely browned I added my tomato sauce and beans then tweaked the chile powder and brown sugar until I had a nice balance of sweet and spicy. Once I was happy with the taste I simmered it until the consistency was right.
