There’s a new version of Google Chrome 4.0 beta out.
I figured out why I like Chrome so much now, and its because I’ve been using 4.0. The normal 2.0 browser is still nothing to write home about, but 4.0 is great and the reason I’ve made it my default over Opera.
I’ve been using Trillian since early 2003 when I started using it over MirandaIM. It was all the same really, but Astra took inclusion and the UI to a whole new level. Even at it’s basic functionality, IMO, it trumps AOL (obviously), YIM, ICQ, and the need to download each bloated program individually.
Question about Chrome: Does it have add-ons like FF? If so, does it have add-ons comparable to NoScript, ABP, and Fox Marks? I’m looking for a new experience in web browsing.
I have been using Trillian since you recommended it here. My only gripe is that sometimes it doesn’t receive messages sent from Facebook, but other than that I love it. Haven’t tried the file transfer and webcam though. I know that you can also configure Skype on there, but I still haven’t tried it.

I have a problem with viewing videos online and I’m experiencing slowdown while even typing in FIREFOX. For example, youtube videos, when I’m viewing a video, the computer pauses for a second, and skips a whole second, sometimes it even pauses for 3 seconds and then skips. I think Firefox is the problem. Can somebody help?
Chrome doesn’t have add-ons yet. It’s a bare bones browser.
There’s a popup blocker, but for the most part f you used it, you’d have to deal with ads.

Have you had your comp checked for spyware?
Try to view videos in another browser first.
If the problem persists, try to reinstall Flash or update it to the newest version.

IMGBurn gets a lot of praise, but I have no personal experience with it. I never needed to burn a DVD, but if I should happen to one day, more than likely I’d use IMGBurn since people say it’s dope and I trust people…

As much as I love Chrome, certain sites kick my ass with all their ads.

They also have a version for free if anyone has a jailbroken iPhone but you have to edit text files with SSH or DiskAid to get it to work.

iPods all dropped prices. Last year the high-end iPod Touch was $400, it just dropped to $280. NEVER buy Apple products the first year. I had to learn that the hard way.
