Asking for help from the SRK community to help fill in the gaps here so we can all understand exactly what those letters before a player’s name mean in the tourney results. The ultimate goal here is to compile a list of ALL major player affiliations (with top-level tourney players, not the clan you founded last weekend with your neighborhood friends), along with members of those organizations, to serve as a handy reference for the fighting game community. Again, any input from people who think this is a good idea and have the knowledge to contribute is more than welcome.

Why is Daigo missing from the list?

Let’s see… I’ve seen DRS, but I have no idea what it means. In case people didn’t know, IFC (Yipes) just means In Fucking Control. Filipino Champ left BLG because they wouldn’t pay for his traveling expenses even though he’s a top player (or something like that). Team Arkansas rocks ARK, but no major sponsorship yet. Team Spooky (TS) is Arturo, Min, Nerdjosh, etc. TWG stands for Team White Guys and currently consists of Arthur (as credited in the official BradyGames MvC3 strategy guide) and TostitoSalsa (one of the best Cody’s in the nation).

Just listing random tags and tidbits above. Probably the only one worthy of being mentioned in the OP is Team Spooky and maybe IFC if people are just curious what it means.

Thanks for the replies. I considered adding Team Sp00ky and DRS before, but I wanted a more definitive member list. As Malevolencia pointed out, however, I already listed EMP without knowing their full roster, so I might as well list those in TS and DRS that I know (or at least think) are affiliated with them.

Added Team Sp00ky, DRS, (those members that I’m aware of) and the British group LowLandLions to the list. Also added PJS DBJoseph and PJS Lamerboi to the PJS group.

I repeat, Team Sp00ky is not an actual “team” in comparison to the rest, unless you consider a Melty player that does gdlk streams and the FG players that assist him at streaming, and all of his friends that you regularly see on his streams an actual team.

And if you do, then you’re missing a LOT of names for TS.
