Ive played him a good bit since vanilla. Hes very good, ive got 1 vid on youtube.
When Dudley jumps at max range just slide him. I just mixup lp ball shenanagins, crouch shenanagins, and slide. Throw in the random crossover jumpin tick throw a few times to open up a combo opportunity, and hope the connection is good enough to punish him.
the problem with trying to AA slide is that if dudley empty jumps you eat 300+ damage. The risk/reward isn’t really in your favor.
abel’s mixup is really about ex rainbow out… if you don’t have EX rainbow you’re kinda screwed

So two characters that recently are making me rage. Adon and Fei long.
Fei is really hard because s.MP beats rekka pressure but loses to c.HP and sometimes c.MP. s.HP beats all of fei’s normals but has issues vs rekka if you whiff and fei is on point. I also can’t easily rush him down 3 frame moves + really solid reversal. Recently i’ve put in a ton of time with this matchup and i really feel it’s harder then balrog at this point for me.
Against Adon i saw someone say that s.HK beats jag kick. Are we sure? like lk jag kick? i find catching lk jag kick with s.MP mid flight works, but i dunno i get hit when i use s.HK. I see a lot of top players who will raw ultra it (mago vs gamerbee comes to mind) i wonder if i could u1 it when it’s coming in. I can win but it’s always close and annoying. I think his wakeup speed really bums me out in AE that won’t be as bad. But just looking for some good ideas in this.
I saw Smexy Millz post something about using coward crouch against Adon so I’ve been trying it out, it’s actually quite awesome if you can do it on reaction to seeing a jaguar kick. Adon has pretty bad recovery when his jag kicks whiff, so you can easily hit him with LP elec out of coward crouch. I’m still experimenting with it and want to test if you can CC a jaguar kick canceled off of a blocked normal.
does crouch work vs air jag kicks?
Yes, I believe so, it also avoids Jaguar Tooth. Not 100% sure if it avoids Rising Jaguar, but in my experience, shoryu-type moves tend to hit Blanka out of the coward crouch. One of these days I’ll complete my master list of stuff that coward crouch avoids!
all the matchups are extremely easy if you are leet lik me.
What is the best way to deal with Kunai traps? I’ve landed U2 just to have it stop after the first hit because the kunai hits.
block or ex upball
I ex up ball when I can but usually she’ll do the neck breaker or dash and sweep. I need to work on blocking that crossup.
i always block the wrong way, i took it to training mode and found out i shouldn’t block it as a crossup, i’m sure she has crossup versions but its the non crossup setup that gets me, was a ages ago so i can’t tell the difference, just exupball, stops em all doesn’t it?
I usually rainbow ball or exupball if i lost my back charge…
late exupball does a good job, she’s tricky though and can change kunai timing so that doesn’t work correctly.
