Uhm I wasn’t talking about you. And you’re serious about sa2? That’s disgusting.

JR you’re so fail.
bitch at least he shows up to tournaments.
fuck you.
keep on keeping on JR. I mean…Mr. President.
Cheap.
At least I don’t like mustard bukkake.
does anyone have a Dudley combo vids? Cant seem to find any.
Dunno if Epsilon or Kal El still post these days, but I wanted to comment that Ghetto D’s Alex is easier to fight when you play the mirror against him.
Also, I think the piano technique doesn’t help much for linking the dart shot if you’re not starting the 1st rotation at the proper moment, though you can sorta “cheat” with that part too by doing 3 rotations, though I prefer to master the required amount.
What scenario do you have to be in to continuously trip people while their in the air?
what scenario do u have to be in to continue tripping people after you launch them in th air. Does it matter what character u fighting? or is it all timing.
did you even read this thread?
Why would he ever read this thread? It’s only labeled as a “COMPLETE” thread and would only obviously have answers to those simple and basic questions. So keep asking useless questions there THeMachine.
Nice thread!
SWEET. I’m glad to see you’re still adding to this topic I recently read and re-read through the whole thread.
Do you have any advice against Urien? From what I can tell, the basic idea with any character you use against him is to keep him mid-screen so he can’t corner you with Aegis or throw you into the corner, then Aegis. Dudley’s cr. hp beats Urien’s cr. fw but not his rh, right? I guess it doesn’t matter as much because you might be able to try ducking to get in after blocking the cr. rh. Dudley’s st. rh is also good for countering some of Urien’s limbs, right? I don’t know all of which ones st. rh beats, though. My biggest prob with Urien is he zones so well against someone lacking a good low poke (range-wise), like Dudley, but this is my biggest personal weakness in playing the game in general. Should I try whiffing pokes more to bait Urien’s pokes? I mostly use st. hp and t+hp against him, but sometimes it trades. Jumping in seems tough because he seems to have a pretty good AA game with random headbutts (st. mp, ‘cancelled’ into headbutt or EX version), or cr. hp/st. hk. Then there’s Urien’s st. mk to zone me as well.
That’s it for now, regarding my trouble with Urien when using ‘Duds’.
this threads fucking 14 pages long give me a break. Besides its simple question -.^
Slightly uphill matchup for Dudley, this match up is all about who gets who to the corner first and Urien does a better job for it here than Dudley. Yeah Urien is insanely dangerous in the corner, but so are you. I find that my chances of winning are much higher if I keep Urien pinned down in the corner. Just keep pressuring, you build meter easily in doing so, and watch out for that dash/headbutt throw to get you in the corner. Only other thing Urien can do to get out of there is kneedrop. If he’s successful in doing so, obviously push yourself out of that corner immediately.
Cr. fierce does beat out low forward/sweep, but you have to be just slightly out of range of it since you’re just hitting the limb. I don’t really look for this or use it that much because I hardly get it and there isn’t much reward in doing so: it’s only poke damage when you could get tagged by other normals from Urien or even headbutts. St. roundhouse is good for beating out st strong/st forward, it doesn’t cleanly beat st. fierce. However always look to whiff punish st fierce if it happens since it’s one of his slower recovering moves (punish with st. rh).
St/f+fierce is your main poke here. If Urien parries, don’t fear too much because all he gets is just st. fierce. Jump-in’s can be risky against a metered Urien since one parry and low fierce can be ggpo. So most of the time you should try to space your jump-in’s so that the second hit of low fierce doesn’t connect. Dud’s jump is too good, don’t stop using it and just keep mixing it up.
Since tackles are safe on Dud (well kind of, you can punish with Cork but you get the shitty last hits of damage), always be on the look out to parry them, or if they’re careless enough to throw it out from long distance you can st. rh them before it hits you to avoid eating Aegis and mixups.
Small tidbit that I don’t think much Dudley’s know about which helps greatly is that you should learn how to punish Urien’s f+fierce with st. strong x duck xx super. Urien f+fierce is -6 (!) and Dud st. strong is 3 frames. Occassionally you might be able to punish tackles with st. strong also. Punish punish punish.
Gist of it is get that beetch to the corner, but much easier said than done x_x. I typed up a damn essay.
Once again, READ THE THREAD. I wonder what might happen IF YOU START WITH THE FIRST POST.
Shit, I spam c.fp non stop and it works wonders and plenty of cc’s
