I hardly call 4th (gootecks) and 7th (Mike Ross) out of 139 entrants, getting fucked up. EC has played 2 or 3 of us from the WC, if at that. And while gootecks and Ross are beasts, I feel like these 3 are our best players:

Talk as much shit as you want, but you can’t seriously look at the 3 I’ve listed, and think that anyone on the East is fucking with them besides you. I mean, I respect your talent, but get off your fucking EC high horse. There’s a reason why everyone considers WC to be the dominant SF4 force in America, but if you forgot why, then I suppose there’s always evo.

I’m not sleeping on EC; not by a damn sight, trust me. But still, I just don’t think making outlandish statements like “EC is rocking your WC shit in sf4” is warranted. I mean, I understand wanting to rep your coast, I get having pride in where you’re from, I even understand getting hype, but don’t just make some sweeping general statement when you got 3 gods of the game hanging around, 2 of which EC hasn’t even had the opportunity to play. Like I said before, nothing but respect for Jwong’s talent, but gootecks and ross didn’t get fucked up (gootecks actually had to peace ouf mike himself at ECT) and EC aint rockin our shit; in any sense of the word.

I’m just wondering why some WC cats put Ed Ma at the very top. No disrespect and no doubt he’s good, but aside from the last Arcade Infinity tournament. Has he even won a tournament since last year when the game was new?
I see gootecks and mike placing more often in WC tournaments. Going back to the 5v5 thread where people say Mike should replace Valle…I think Ed Ma is in the same boat as Valle.
Ken is ass in the game too. His ken can’t be that much better than Dr. Chaos or Sanford.
^ im pretty sure its because edma is a busy person and hasnt really entered tournaments recently besides going to a Denjin Ranbat (1st about 4-6 weeks ago?) and the last AI ranbat (1st). other than that i think he has been busy.
Ed is on another level. Just because he isn’t playing in tournaments, doesn’t mean he still can’t wreck the majority of players out there. Same goes for Valle and… WATSON?! Evo is gonna be too hype this year. :lovin:
