It’s actually Brown/Gold/ Patented Leather Beige I can’t believe I’ve been too 8 different outlets and I couldn’t find a tee shirt, 6 City Blues wasted about 10 mins on each one. But if anyone else know if a site where I could find a good T-Shirt for these sneakers.

Also yeah, Hollister is just as racist as Ambercrombie, they’re both part of the same company. They hire people based on there appearance, and are quick to reject you if your fat and/or ugly. It’s a horrible place with some of the stupidest employees ever. In my store they encourage you to “goof off” a little because working hard doesn’t look cool and looking cool is what the brand is about. I hate my job…

new jeans question

how many times do you need to pre-wash jeans to guarantee they won’t bleed on white shoes?

i got new pairs of buffalo and g-star raw… and i plan to break them out this weekend with the purple rose 576 i got last week, but worried for the worst.

i’ve screwed up couple of white shoes in the past by wearing new jeans, but i don’t want anything bad happen to these pair since they’re pretty rare.

is one pre-wash enough?

Every store has the same fake facade with the same fake plants out front, with the same fake terracotta roof, and every store plays the same pop/punk/emo soundtrack. Everything in this store is engineered to create a fake image, right down to the way the store smells. Think that musky cologne you smell when you walk by the store is an accident? Some marketing dickwad was paid top dollar to make you have an involuntary brand association every time you smell that scent. All so they can sell you a hat popularized by a Cuban dictator for the low low price of $20. Choke it down, dipshits!

Anyway, i rather have Truimivir x street fighter over supreme anyday. Supreme might have better quality and the elitest factor to it, but i want to be able to afford the game and a new stick too, and with supreme we know that just ain’t happening.

IMO I think Supreme is more catering to the American urban/skate/elite crowd based their celeb collabs. I don’t think Capcom would fit well for Supreme’s brand image. Not that Supreme is a bad brand, they’re definitely the OG of streetwear but I think that Triumvir, who biases their work towards a more Asian demographic, would be much better in this sense.

Sure they had a wacky unorthodox start and many sub-par designs, but seeing the direction they’re going (well imo they had a hiccup for Spring/Summer 08) I think this brand is definitely here to stay. I saw the upcoming Fall/Winter drops and I was pretty amazed that this mostly “temporary” brand finally solidified and reinvented themselves to their own right.

I like both brands (although the hundreds has been questionable for the past 2 years), but hype is too strong and it could turn into an easy 100 dollar shirt. Look at the kermit tee.

I would just tape the bottom. My raws generally stopped bleeding after around 2-3 washes (I wore them in 3+ months) but taping the bottom is a good solution to guarantee no bleeding onto the shoes.

But personally I just rock dark shoes until my jeans are perfect before breaking out the whites.

and dunno… i like the fresh look for jeans. :xeye:

but it’s also true i usually don’t opt for sneakers, so i tend to let my jeans flesh out more hue over ‘dress shoes’ (i tend to wear more casual-ish stuff by cole haan, kenneth cole and robert wayne).
