vans are hideous.
i’ve been thinking of getting some vans or converse’s of a solid color like white/black or blue and painting on them…do you guys have any idea what kinda paint i should be using? Or would a colored sharpie do the trick?

I hate vans with a passion. Those Simpson 1s are pretty clean but I still wouldn’t cop. Whats funny to me is that u don see vans everywhere anymore. Like I don see black 16 yr olds with 3xL white tees in vans anymore. Guess the people who got into the fad are gone jus like that crappy ass bay group that made that song.

Hypebeast is a prime example of what happens when a specific source becomes an authority on something that is entirely opinion. The sneaker/streetwear world has been taken over by people who are obsessed with exclusivity rather than style and what actually looks good. I’ve see some sneakers in this thread that were just really…ugly. If I see Andy Milanokis on another red carpet or interview talkin’ “yeah, I just put on whatever, some hot new Dunks and matching T shirt,” I’m going to shoot myself.
simpsons x vans was a failure thanks to a combo of women and alcohol, but it’s cool, shit happens.
Milanokis is still famous?? You can’t put that entirely on hype though, sometimes people just like ugly ass shit. Of course hb makes things waaaaay worse by hyping ugly shit because there’s going to be limited quantities. HB also makes you cop shit on the day of release just for a chance at retail price. The streetwear/sneaker culture like anything else gets a little “weaker” when more people are involved with it, but it’s the nature of the beast. Some people feel espn is fucking up pro sports in certain respects, it’s not going anywhere though.

From what I’ve heard, the P-rod IIs look a lot better in person. Mines will be coming in the mail…the hoodie/belt/wallet/hat looks sick though.
Not to sound like a jackass or technical, but I don’t THINk it should have the J-rod title to the shoe because there is no jumpman logo…i’m quite disappointed
