I’m a big Simpsons fan point blank, and I’m into sneakers so this is a match made in heaven. I have NEVER camped for anything and I will never do it again unless it involves eagles superbowl tickets (but God doesn’t seem to bang with philly like that). If it’s what I have to do for a pair of Mr. Cartoon Simpsons vans (the only ones I like) I’ll do what I have to do. I’m actually pissed I have to go to NY when there is a vans store in jersey, and I’m more pissed that only 1400 pairs are being released and that people will camp out just to resell the bitches for more dough. Fact of the matter is, the hypebeast can’t be stopped, it’s the nature of “streetwear” these days. Fuck the bullshit too, if there were a pair of Simpsons sneakers out before that I like, I’d cop, who would laugh at me, some 15 year old with no job? I could care less.

I feel you on hype making things much worse. Honestly I’d cop either way. The only reason for camping is fucking resellers who prey on those who fall for the hype. I refuse to pay like $500 or whatever ridiculous price for some fucking Vans, that’s why I would camp. If you don’t feel them, then you don’t feel them. I’m really feeling the Cartoons, plus there is a chick in NY I haven’t seen in a while, so it all works for me since it’ll cost me $20 to get there and back. So if somehow I get fucked on the shoes, there’s still pussy and the new era store for me to hit up, along with CF if I’m bored.
edit: honestly, I wasn’t even thinking about camping until others brought it up to me…I never see niggas camp in philly, but people I know in NY, aside from the girl, keep telling me I might need to camp.
