Ok. New Chicago thread, new format.

Shit has been way too confusing in the first post for awhile now, so I’m taking a few liberties to clean it up. All the old information will still be there, but in an easier format to find for both old and new players alike, so you don’t have to waste time or frankiecut your monitor trying to find what you’re looking for. My general take on things is if you clutter people with too much info, nobody is going to care. So my goal is to keep everything pretty organized here for ease of access.

If you have any information you’d like to add to this post, like if you’ve started having gatherings at your place on a regular basis or found a new hotspot to get games in, let me know either by posting up or pm’ing me, and I’ll do my best to keep this post updated on a regular basis.

If you’re new and have been lurking either because A) We post too much or B) We post too much stupid shit; just feel free to drop in a line with your name, xbl/psn/pc handles and location. That always helps, and you may quickly find some local players to get games with in.

Also in an effort to alleviate the stress of spam, I’m adding in a spoiler for GATHERINGS OF THE WEEK. This is going to eliminate/replace the other Chicago Matchmaking thread I had previously made. If you’re hosting a gathing for the CURRENT WEEK, PM ME YOUR INFO. Times, Date, Location, and possibly Cell # would be good info so people can get a hold of you and get to the gathering. KEEP CHECKING THIS FIRST POST FOR REGULARLY UPDATED INFORMATION IN THAT SPOILER.

If you feel the need to spam, I believe the irc channel still exists. For the most part try to keep this thread fighting game/video game/shoe related :rofl:

I am at work and where I live right now I dont have internet for my ps3.

I need you guys to post up if you know shit is going down. If it’s regarding a tournament, please post all the info like normal, or give me a link I can go off of and copy/paste.

If you’re posting in the thread with something that needs to be added to the first post, please bold, underline, or color tag your post or some shit…just so it sticks out and I can notice it. If you’re worried I’m gonna miss something, pm me it instead. That easy.

I’ll put stuff up as far ahead as you guys can give it to me. After a tournament has been ran, it’ll be removed. I really think this new system is going to work, I just need help from you guys compiling everything. Once we got that down I think we’ll have one of the most accessible threads we’ve seen in awhile.

D- first time I’ve been on since Fri. I’ll double check what I took but doubt I had a controller. Very shitty.

Jose- I think you were plugged into my 360, I think I would notice a controller breakaway but I will look when I get home today if you didn’t already find it. That 360 I brought is still just sitting in the bag, so there’s a small chance it’s there.
