Standard counters do some serious damage too. Just noticed on that Balrog Comeback.
You’re right. There’s a small delay before the freeze and the health drain though, so immediate combos after freezing leads to less damage. Health drain is similar to FANG’s poison, but without any visual effects on the HP Bar.
How long does the freeze state last? Because if you know the exact timing you can probably get the equivalent of a heavy punch/kick simply by letting the ice damage stack before starting your combo. They’ve said you can’t wiggle the stick to get out of it so it must be a fixed timer running down.
What? That can’t be right. You could just let your opponent’s life drain until it reaches zero then. Or 1 and then hit them. Can’t really imagine that being the case because reaching freeze state would be auto-win for Kolin.
Edit: or I suppose the damage it does during freeze is fixed.
I was under the impression that Freeze lasted as much as an Unmashed Stun. If that’s the case, you can let it tick down for quite a bit then combo, but not let the opponent as a popsicle until it dies. It does legit damage, not grey health.
Also, if I got it right, the only way to reset the Stun Bar during Trigger is hitting Kolin.
