A roundup of informations, taken from pro players’ twitter (Wong and Joe) and gameplay footage (it’s late so I didn’t check everything or take screens of the normals)

[details=Spoiler]**Normals : **

  • Stubby Normals
  • Good air to air in general
  • 3 frames LK
  • 2LK > MK is her primary frame trap
  • 2LK > Throw is great too
  • MP is+2. Link into itself or 2MP on counter.
  • 2MP (+2) is cancelable, 2MK isn’t (it’s the long range low that we saw in her trailer after a vanity step crouch short)
  • 2HP is an aa, cancelable (not sure if it’s HP or 2HP which CC spin)
  • HK > MK works
  • Her sweep is a 2 hit move. Special cancelable on the first hit. Crsh counter spin on the first hit, hard knockdown if the second connects

**Unique Attacks : **

  • Icicle Stamp (double jump thingy) has a hitbox. You can only travel forward in a set direction by using it (I’m sad)
  • Blizzard Heel (6MK) is an overhead. Looks like Laura’s, but seems to be safer (-6), two hits.
  • Sniping Kick (4HK) is basically Cammy’s MK, slower though, +2. Crush Counter (like Urien’s Step Kick)
  • We knew that but she has a target combo that builds V meter (MK > HP > VS)

**Specials : **

*Vanity Step : *

  • After Vanity step, she can : Do nothing, Jump, Silver Edge (punch), Dash Knee (MK) or Heavy Kick
  • Ex Vanity Step is strike invincible

*Parabellum : *

  • Her Heavy Parabellum got punished by her own stand MP.
  • Ex Parabellum seems to be the way to go, according to Wong. It can lead to an air reset. Safe on block (maybe plus as she counter with Stand Jab just after)

*Frost Touch : *

  • Ex does 240/300
  • A whiffed FT is similar to a whiff parry, you get CC

*Hail Storm : *

  • Ex throws two fireballs … iceballs.

**V System : **

  • The freeze effect stay until she is hit
  • Two bars of V meter

She is definitely my new main. Stubby normals, yes, but the vanity step is so much fun and her mix-ups are hilarious. Probably the most FUN character they’ve introduced so far. The colors on both costumes look great (they don’t have Story or Nostalgia playable).

I’m definitely going to try her, though I suspect that where I live (amidst the bottom feeding pond scum down in ultra bronze) she will be a bit broken

I don’t get what her designed tradeoff is.
Before today i was pretty shure that she’s gona have weak defense. But she have 3f st.LK and EX.VanityStep is strike invincible (from frame 1?) - almost a reversal? V-reversal seems okay.
She has antiair parry with good damage, which looks good. d.HP antiairs (is it good?). And it seems that if you try to jump her VT from the front you get hit. So antiairs seem okay.
Neutral seems okay. She has parries, which seems to be designed to be used in neutral. f.HK crushes and seems not particularly stubby though slow, if she can combo from it - may be good neutral tool. cr.MK doesn’t seems particularly stubby too.
Mobility also seems okay. Dash and walk speed seems average and i don’t see anybody complaining about it, so i guess it’s okay. Projectile seems to be useful in getting in (she seem to recover before it hits). Double jump too i believe is primarily a tool to get in (am i correct?). So she has tools to get in, especially if her parries can make people to be wary in throwing buttons.
We don’t know if her mixups are real but judjing by trailer i thought capcom positions her as a mixup character. She has overhead and crossup and a dandy step. She can built v-meter fast and freeze with v-trigger. So in theory she is supposed to be good in oppening up opponents and scary on the attack.
Of course any of that tools may be simply shit and unusable. But at least by design i don’t see what her weakness is supposed to be. Low health? Low damage?

P.S. her throws definitely get style points from me. =) I love “realistic” throw animations.

Her trade off looks like it is going to be that her neutral is mostly gambling, with stubby normals and specials/v-skill that give up a cc if they get read.

She looks like an amazing pressure character though- where when things are going her way it will seem like she is in complete control of the round.

Her specials look really fun but…
Why does she have Cammy’s st.mk, Laura’s overhead, Mika’s cr.lk, Ibuki’s cr.mk, Karin’s cr.mp and the standard st.mk knee?
I get some moves may look similar to another character’s but this is a whole new level. All other DLC characters so far have had really unique moves, even Akuma and he’s a shoto.

This is Capcom, if the general form of her strikes are cosmetically similar to someone else’s, we’re getting off easy.

We all know at some point they’re going to add a character that is just a head swap of an existing character with different frame data on the normals and new specials.

Because Capcom. Why do you think they’re using a character they already have instead of actually creating a new one?

And i actually don’t think that it particualrly a bad thing. There are not so much variety in strike animations that you can think of without making them stupid (i’m looking at you Guile). Overall her moveset looks pleasing, despite being stolen. You can say it’s cheap but you also can say it’s efficient to reuse moves. =)

Fun fact: Her forward throw has no corner carry. You can see Mika standing up in the same place she got knocked down and Kolin even moves backwards.

Her gameplay looks super fun.

She’s the first dlc character that I can’t wait to try out.
