Yes it is. I needed a good vampire pic by my name and that’s what i found.Good eye there.
LoI was a pretty good action game for its time. Especially so considering it came out before DmC1 and GoW I believe. I wish I had a copy…It’s literally the only CV game that was released in the past 10+ years that I don’t own. Well that and Curse of Darkness, but I thought CoD was a fucking terrible game.
I don’t like the way Trevor looks on the Nintendo magazine cover. Looks way to similar to Simon’s fruity red-haired re-design. Simon and Trevor are probably the manliest Belmonts, they should always have their Conan the Barbarian look.
LoI came out in oct 2003, DMC1 was oct 2001 and dmc2 was jan 2003 i think (yes i am a nerd). Though no one ever remembers dmc2.
LoI is one of my favorite games on ps2 that isn’t guilty gear, dmc3:se, rez, or shadow of the colossus. The music in that game was pretty awesome and going through crazy mode was a challenge. Joachim mode was fun as well. Great times. The only thing that bugged me was the game was kinda short. the subweapon system with the orbs was cool though, even if it was copy/ pasted from Harmony of dissonance.
I’ll bump heads with you again.
I enjoyed LoI a hell of a lot more than I did LoS. Man, I remember playing through that game multiple times on @CRAZY mode. That’s when things got really fun then playing as Joachim. Never played as the pumpkin though.

BAD ASS ENDING
Pumpkin was Leon with the best whip form the start and pumpkin subweapons. Easymode sure but having Grand Pumpkin was cool
Pumpkin was a lot of fun.
Still keeping Castlevanias on handhelds I see. Hopefully Nintendo releases a revision of the 3DS before Mirror of Fate is released. That’s the only thing that’s stopping me from buying one
Somebody doesn’t know a troll when they read it. I actually dig Lament Of Innocence and would play Mirror Of Fate…if I could find a 3DS for cheap. Don’t get so bent outta shape dude.
Didn’t know it was a joke. Now I know.
Considering the BS that went on in that dumb nintendo thread earlier, I’m not surprised Specs didn’t quite catch on to the troll. I thought for a moment you were serious too.
Happy to see Trevor, sad to see this may well be LoS portable. I wish they could let the console CV and portable Metroidvania series coexist as parallels.
[spoiler=]I don’t think so. The future jump is an interesting direction to take. What’s important here is when in the future their meeting takes place. Satan’s return in the future may very well be the incident from 1999 that was an important background event in Aria of Sorrow.[/details]
The only real Dracula is Mathias Cronqvist

I can already see the “Lords of Shadow isn’t Castlevania” arguments re-emerging, for reals. Not on SRK, just around the interwebz.
I want that game so hard.
If there’s more “tell don’t show” exposition (read RC’s post for the skinny on that) and similar “8 bazillion moves and you only need 2” gameplay, I won’t be very hard for it. If not and they refine the mechanics from LoS, I may have to consider a 3DS. What else is on that system?
Remakes and mario?
