Dracula is fucking me up. Just tried 6 times and failed.

Iām quite serious, crab boss = worst Castlevania boss everāin terms of design. He had 3 frigginā attacks that he just spammed over and over and over again. When I was using the lance, I kept on dying because it took 10 minutes to damage him sufficiently before he turned red and angry. I must have played that boss 10-15 times at that point.
When I started using hammers, I beat him in about 3 tries.
Again, that boss wasnāt about pattern recognition, it was weapon choice, and only weapon choice.
However, Dracula is one of the best Castlevania bosses ever. Damn, that fight was too hard, and too good. So I suppose it kind of balances out.
The Emperor Ring is very handy, hope you guys are using it.

Vol Grando, all day (not only does a nice bit of damage, but manages to destroy those pellets it spits up with no effort at all). I was expecting it to kill me like most of the other bosses, but when I switched to that, I managed to beat him on my first try.

Iām at lvl 62 and I still cant beat Dracula. I hate this game (hugs Castlevania franchise).
I beat the Training Hall, but fuck the Large Cavern.
Hereās a trick for Dracula- if you ever activate Volaticus (flight mode) heāll do this huge flame wave, but it starts at your current position and travels away from Drac. So as soon as you see him starting an attack, jump at him and hit R and fly straight at him and heāll stop whatever heās about to do and flame wave. Just donāt do it too close to him or heāll cape swipe AA you.
Drac is fucking me hard. I do lovers ring and death ring till his second phase and then I get taken out. Iām using INT bump and the purple laser attacks (from the nova skeletons). I will try flying thing soon. Any other tips? I have to beat this before FO3 comes out.
The first few times I tried Dracula I flew around lasering him with green skeleton laser, staying far enough to bait purple flames without him cape swiping and close enough to fly over him in time to dodge the flames. It worked for a bit, but I couldnāt do it consistently. I looked through my inventory and decided to try out a glyph I didnāt use very often.
Killed him my first try with this:
Relatively Easy Dracula Kill
[details=Spoiler] The third shield glyph (Melio Sanctum?). Blocks damn near everything he throws out. It doesnāt completely block the dark orbs (reduces damage), but those are easy enough to dodge anyways.
I also had Dominus or Cerberus activated as my R button glyph.
Keep the shield out (use your fingers), sickle him all day. Watch out for his melee attacks (axe kick, Soul Steal, etc.)[/details]

God this game is fantastic, I wish I had a fucking uterus just so I could have Shanoaās fucking babies.
Use double Nitesco (you can also use the magic boosting glyph too if you want), and always stay glued to the wall. When he spits the meteors, move to the right, and then go back to the wall. Every one of his swipes can be avoided with a double jump. Be careful because he randomly shoots that big ass laser from his mouth after a swipe. He telegraphs it so if you are aware of it you shouldnāt have a problem double-jumping it.
When he gets srs, you can avoid his triple swipes by double jumping the first, crouching the second (be close to the wall) and double jumping the third. To avoid swipe + meteors, double jump near the wall.

Anyway, I use Vol Ascis because I can spam it all day and donāt have to jump, plus it does some amazing damage. Itās not his first attack formation that kills me, its the second where he throws those bats and dogs at you.
Except in that ugly Wii fighter. I donāt know how Obata manages to ruin every single Castlevania design he touches.
