i feel similarly as veteran developers that manage to keep their core team members on multiple projects tend to maintain a level of quality and polish to titles they develop. kojima hideo is another game designer that likes to keep his team intact on a lot of his projects. suffice to say, it makes for better games more than anything else and really makes a lot of sense in hindsight.
How are they retarded? they made like the least amount of cash from games. Once MGS5 is out it’ll probably be the last time we hear anything of them video game wise for awhile until they feel like remaking MG and MG2
From watching the video he doesn’t actually need the kickstarter. He’s merely using it to show there’s an audience for the game so his publisher can fund it. If not then he’s got a solid foundation to start with. Going with IndieGoGo would have suited that plan better. Best of luck to him.
Mobile game markets are already heavily saturated, so if the rumors of going in that direction exclusively are true then they are only a year or so away from that bubble popping as well.
The cost of heading down that road including the loss of some of the most prominent and well respected developers in the business and mothballing many fan loved series.
Fuck i know they soaked me for like 50$ alone on HoD for shitty add on’s.
If they actually put real effort into a sequel to that game they could rake in a fortune in micro transactions.
Konami makes their cash everywhere else thats not mobile and console/pc game related. Although the Mobile market in Japan is completely different from the one everywhere else.
Arcades, Fitness centers, Whore houses (Pretty sure every japanese company has these), Probably even theme parks and restaurants.
Gonna start beating all the Castlevania games. I’ve played a few but have only beaten SotN. Should I play by the story’s chronological timeline or by the order in which the games were released on console?
