The Calgary Cup Street Fighter 4 Tournament
$10 Entry Fee
Double Elimination
2 out of 3 games per match
3 out of 5 games per semi final match
4 out of 7 games grand finals
Community standard tournament rules and format shall be used
Fei Long game-freeze glitch is banned, everything else is fair game. lol.
Local ranking-battle point leaders will be given top seed
Out-of-town players will also be seeded as a courtesy

An Open Challenge to the Edmonton Street Fighter Community
$1000 Entry Fee (MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE CALGARY CUP TOURNAMENT BEGINS, AT 2:00PM)
5 vs 5 Team Battle
a-cho Single Elimination Format
Best 2/3 rounds, 2/3 matches, per set
Players will be locked into their character choice throughout the event
No Duplicate Characters on a team (meaning, only 1 Ryu per team, 1 Balrog per team, etc)
Lapchi and Hai will determine who will represent Calgary in this challenge, it has not yet been decided. Edmonton has accepted this challenge, but has also not yet decided on who will make up their team. We also ask that the team members please remember to bring identification to verify that you are indeed a resident.
The format above may change if the teams can both agree on an alternative format.
AWARDS AND DISTRIBUTION
Pot distribution will be 70/20/10 for all tournament games
However, the winner of the Calgary Cup will not only win the 1st Place portion of the pot (and a neat trophy), but will also go home with a PS3!
For the Calgary vs Edmonton $1000 Challenge, the losing team must pay the other a thousand dollars.
This is a 100% “not-for-profit” event. Revenue gained via admissions fees and refreshments sales will be put back into the funding of the event. If by some miracle we actually MAKE money on this, the surplus will be added to the tournament winnings and given back to the players.
