Oh cool, right on. It works. I had a f2 button set of skills that was just annoying them with freeze, that earthquake shit, and the burning hand… it was like all stun/knockdown spells. I can finally run through towns and not get pvp challenges. thx!

Anyone have any idea why all the textures are really dark when I attempt to play on my laptop? I’m running Vista, does it have a problem with Vista? Like everything else in the world.

Now, I think that guide is pretty awful. From what I’ve been able to figure out through testing and talking to people on Cabal with much more experience than myself rank is superior to level. Like, leveling up your sword and magic at the same time is pretty beastly.
How it works is every time you punch a mob you gain exp, what you might not notice is that you gain exp to sword and magic at the same time instead of just one or the other. I’ve seen plenty of people doing this in game and talked to them to try and figure out more. Some of these people are only level 42, but can one shot me. These people that do this are low level but as strong as a 95 or 100 because of them ranking up their abilities. Also every time you rank up you gain passive stats. When you rank up in magic you gain int/dex, when you rank up in sword you gain str/dex.
What you do is just turn on auto attack and attack mobs of relatively high level that can’t hurt you too much. Right now I’m doing this on zombie apes and they hit me for 4, I hit them for 4 but I gain 3 exp every time I hit them. Since I hit them for so little I can sit here and auto attack for like 10 minutes per ape without paying attention. I’m watching Reign Over Me right now on Starz while I do this. I also rubbed one out earlier to the beautiful Jada Fire while doing this, it’s pretty baller. Check it out if you like, it’s never really too late to start. Oh and I just got dash and it’s awesome!
edit: Buying adept items like rings and necklaces also help in this process. If you’re a wizard or a low defense class them maybe hp stealing items might help more. For a warrior or an archer, I think you’d be find with full adept. I tried using full adept items but since they’re lower in defense than my current armor I was getting raped while I wasn’t potting and such. A little but of defense goes a long way. a difference in 20 defense and 30 or 40 defense rating equaled to about 30 damage more from the mobs.

Just go to an area thats yellow for u then turn on auto attack and punch. Itll work both skills as irioku stated. Works like a charm, got me to a.expert in no time.
Hmm, I’m a wizard, and it seems like the punching is favoring magic more than sword. Is that normal? I mean, I’ve leveled twice in magic before sword even went up once. I’m currently punching plant toads in green despair. They’re not yellow [yellow would be bugzards, and they do too much damage to punch them without constantly healing] they’re more of a greenish-yellow, but I’ve gained a couple levels so far so it’s working out. Also, where do you purchase the adept sets? +skill exp sounds good… though I’m too low level for the set right now.
Also, is there some other trick to punching? 108 life at lvl 20… seems low? I dunno, if I had more life I could probably punch tougher things
Buy that HP Assist at the Instructor’s shop. Get Mana Assist as well, since it’s there. Then later, you can ditch the Mana Assist for Reflex or some other shit.
