I think first we should just start doing sign ups. Make sure you can book the day off and be ready to start the Tournament at 230PM!!
Second, hyt, TVs are never a problem at my tourneys, its Systems.
Third, I would like to try to Cap it at 16 Teams. This would allow us to speed up the Team formations and sign ups, and work on format. We could do more Teams, but we would need them in 2’s or 4’s. Trust me odd numbers skew the brackets/rankings.

Try to bring a PS3 if possible, TVs even better.
More TVs means Team and Singles in Under 5 Hours. Trust me it can be done.
Honestly, FT5 is the best format. But I’ve no real problem with Iron Man, but I’m calling it now, Top 3 will be one person Teams. The best we can do is someone NEW must start each match.
This is going to be a long and heated debate I’m sure
If you have more than 16 teams prior to registration closing there’s no point in capping the bracket. How do you decide who’s in and who’s not? If you have 17 teams, that’s an extra 3 people and $15 to the pot. If you need help in constructing brackets I’m sure any number of experienced directors will be able to assist you. Trust me, capping is never in the best interest of the community, especially if they were on time to register.
Why not just let the players decide? You’ve asked for a Team pre-registration, when the players submit their names/characters they can simply put down whether they’d prefer Iron Man or FT5. Majority rules, majority is happy. Fair yes?
On a side note, i assume we can submit the team name at the actual event. For the sake of Pre-registration though:
Nagata Lock II (Chun Li)/YellowS4 (Ryu)/Noodleman (Sagat). Iron Man Ruleset please.
