Team Tournament Rules (as per Dino; ver. 1.0)
- First to Three Matches
- Best 2 out of 3 Rounds (usual Standard; saves time)
- Team Order should be picked BEFORE starting each match. You can change your order in any Round, but you won’t know the opponents
- Character Lock, No multiple characters on one Team
- Pause button banned; forfeit round
- please announce BEFORE the match starts that you are changing/checking your buttons. If the match begins and then you find out, you will have to forfeit the round
Double Elim. In terms of TVs. We can try to do 2TVs Winners and 2TVs Losers; that way there won’t be long waits in between. Im open on this one.
$15 Entry. 70/20/10; but I can see someone make the case where a 75/25 or 80/20 split might be easier and better. I’m open on this one.
In terms of Late, just let me know but cut off will likely be 3:30 at the latest. In terms of brackets, it would be great Russel if you could bring your Laptop with the bracket creator. We will use that for Region Seeding, and if necess. Skill seeding. After the brackets have been created I will have a hard copy for myself, which I will be able to printout.
In terms of calling matches. I will have help from Amaury with running Soul Cal Teams. There will be the case where one of the SC/Buff crew will be playing another game, We will try to avoid this, but it will happen. I’m sure Russel and Djkun? can help with calling matches. Having a hard copy will also help people who wanna see the bracket, without dealing with the laptop.
Windows will be open.
DJ equip I will make sure is not in the Way. The “soul cal” side should give enough room for his stuff. We will work around the Tourney though. BY soul cal side I mean where it used to be.
I will have the basics of the Room setup Fri night, it will just require Systems, Sticks, power bars the next day. I will be there at 12;30 at the latest. 2-3 Systems should be set up by 1. Chairs will be primarily for players, with a few scattered around. This is in the interest of Space.
I will gather monies/names at 2PM. We will aim for a 2;30 Start time, with mean time of 3.5 Hours, so should be done by 6.
