Obvious observations is that Brook is too light to fight Triple G. I see the fight being pretty similar to Khan vs Canelo actually.
Roy beat Rodney Moore
Brook did good against GGG for 4 rounds, but you can tell that his eye was bothering him by his gestures and squints. Itâs a good thing they stopped the fight on the 5th round as GGG was on the offensive, and Brook could have been badly hurt. I heard that before the stoppage in the 5th round, GGG landed 30 power punches vs Brookâs 6 punches. It was the right decision to stop it, but I wish GGG does not keep showing his chin toughness by goading guys to punch him and taking it intentionally. If he does it with a decent power puncher, he could get knocked out, but maybe he felt that brook could not hurt him enough.
It was an entertaining fight for how long it lasted, and brook has got nothing to be ashamed of. He took it to GGG. Hopefully GGG gets a unification fight with billy joe saunders since he called him out in the post-fight interview.
Yeah, I think it was a thing where he felt Brookâs power and wasnât concerned. And Brook did good to last that long when he was clearly outgunned.
