Kirkland was never going to beat Canelo. Everyone knew that. Even Ann Wolfe said that Canelo is no scrub and will lay hands. I think all that talk of Kirkland winning came from the 24/7 episodes just to market that fight. GGG is crafty dude, his power is legit, but I think the main thing that people forget is his amazing ability to just walk you into a corner. He also is good about landing those body shots. I think Canelo most definitely wonât have an easy time in this fight. I think it will be a great fight, but on the real you can only block so many punches.
I know after the fight Wade said that GGGâs power âis realâ. Once I find the article Iâll post it. But from what people whoâve faced GGG in the past have all said that this dudes power is another level. I mean you can see that much.

Iâm not looking at it based on those other fights, Iâm talking about the what-ifâs of an actual Canelo/GGG fight if it actually happened. Caneloâs a great fighter and I think it would probably be one of GGGâs toughest fights, but the way Canelo fights, he could totally get zoned out and not be able to land anything. GGGâs technical chops is why I think Canelo could lose the fight. Caneloâs good, but I donât think heâs up to GGGâs level in a technical sense. GGG is good at controlling the pace of the fight, and if he does that, itâs going to make it really hard for Canelo to win.
Regardless, I really like both GGG and Canelo and think this could be one of the great fights of all time if they donât want too long to schedule it.
Also GGG is not afraid to get hit. I mean he lets niggas hit him just to make it interesting. I think GGG will take a couple of Caneloâs good shots to gauge if they can lead to problems later.

The ONLY thing I think that could give GGG a chance is that Canel likes to cruise at points in all his fightsâŚlike he takes half a round off waiting to see what the opponent will do then he blasts the last half of the round or vice versa. Hes given a few rounds away like that before. Im not a believer in golovkin bros, i just dont see it
