Iâm certain Canelo/GGG will happen. The people want it, and both of them arenât opposed to fighting top opponents. Honestly this has been a good year for boxing. Loved watching Chocalito do is thing. Easily one of the best fighters in the world.

Itâs a good year because it shows that we donât need premadonnas like Floyd or Pac. Pac iâve drawn more respect for than before though⌠regardless, Boxing is being displayed for what it really is with Canelo, GGG, and Cotto.
Yo can i just say how impressed i am with Chocalito. He is unreal. Man what a sick fight that would be between Inoue the beast and him. On that note, triple G didnt get exposed. He even said how he let Monroe back into the fight to give the crowd a show. That said huge props to Monroe. Dude came to fight and honestly put on a really good showing and showed a ton of heart. Canelo vs Triple G is gonna happen and will be unreal. That said Triple G gonna stop Canelo. Calling it now.
There is a lot more than just those guys. That said I totally agree, its good to see boxing is much bigger than just those two.
Yesterday GGG officially made me a fan. Dude has meteors for hands. I dont really watch boxing since I personally prefer MMA but knowing GGG and Canelo can carry the torch once the seniors are long gone is a good sign
Donât get me wrong I like Triple G as well. But I just see way too many holes in his defense that can easily be exploited by a good boxing technician. (Which is exactly why he turned down that Lara fight to begin with cuz he knows this.) That letting the other fighter get a chance tap dancin for the dcafs attending is not only damage control to cover that fact up, but condescending to his opponent as well. As if his own shit donât stink. If youâre underestimating your opponents that damn much then stop being scared and step up in competition so you donât have to =/.
Iâll give him full props when he stops facing all these unknowns and fights someone credible. Still not a believer. Not hating. Just facts.
Honestly a lot of people donât want to face GGG. Its been stated many times that its hard to find an opponent for him. I doubt he is ducking anyone, he has no reason to. He is trying to make a name for himself here. I mean Cotto didnât face him, so I donât think the onus is all on GGG. Monroe Jr said that GGG would have issues trying to corner him, and you saw how easily that happened. Its like you can fight someone, but there is no reason to kill a gnat with a cannon you know? I appreciate GGG wanting to put on a show, gave boxing and casual fans alike an entertaining match.

Canelo is the biggest name in GGGâs division. Andre Ward would be a good fight, but really what other ppc names are there for him besides those 2?

Like callin out Floyd, A NATURAL 147lb and below fighter that is 2 divisions lower than him. Even when GGGs team are on record saying that even he (GGG) himself has trouble making 154 so a catchweight fight is out of the question. It makes no sense what so ever. But yet that donât stop any of his âFansâ from spreading that ignorance because they are so DESPERATE to see floyd lose to the point they CLEARLY lost any and all common sense and think itâs A ok for a heavier fighter to call out a smaller one. As long as itâs him, and pretty much anyone else thatâs doing thatâŚother than floyd.
