I used my christmas gift cards at best buy and picked up spiderman trilogy, pans labyrinth and the simpsons movie on blu ray. simpsons looks really fuckin good, as does spiderman, pans is good and most scenes, kinda grainy at others, but the sound is good.

lol… I didn’t get the movie of my choice. They sent me The Guardian, which was the absolute last movie I wanted from that list. I would’ve rather gotten a second copy of The Prestige, then give it to a friend. Luckily, Sony sent me the movie of my choice, which I thought I wouldn’t be getting from that buy 2, get 1 mail-in offer (aka the Buy 1, Get 2 since I got the 2 movies from the Amazon BOGO).
People say 2 to 8 weeks.

was gonna use the $20 coupon on potter movies, but amazon had b1g1 for them in HD DVD

ha before this amazon b1g1 i had literally the same amount of blu rays as HD DVDs (93 each)
but with the b1g1 (6 titles) and 10 i’m picking up at Best Buy B3G2 next week gonna lean towards HD DVD for a while
but most of the titles on my “wish list” for jan are blu
HD got nothing really coming in jan that i want besides pianist/zodiac, maybe i’ll pick up white noise 1/2 if i can get them cheap
for blu i’m picking up: sunshine, RE trilogy, 3:10 to yuma, shoot 'em up, and saw 4, and maybe war/GL Chuck/Mr Woodcock when they’re cheap
i just like movies, don’t care about format. if the quality is the same, i’ll buy whatever is cheaper
Yeah. The more I think about it, the more I see movies I want on the red side (although blu still has most of the movies I want), and I’ve decided that a good HD-DVD player would be nicer own than a stupid Wii. If Brawl gets delayed, I’m going to sell my Wii and pick up an A35 or something.

Gamestop currently has Buy 2 Get 2 on used DVDs (haven’t checked my store yet, so it’s not confirmed) and it’s supposed to be good for Blu-rays and HD-DUDs. I might actually have some use for my Edge card now.
^i checked my local gamestop and they have that deal but still haven’t found a gamestop that sells any kind of high def movie.
i also went to best buy and all those titles that were on sale for 19.99 were all gone except spiderman.
i did change 3 of the 5 movies i got with my ps3 in the mail at bestbuy for harry potter 1-4 lol. i exceeded my exchange without a receipt limit so i have one of my friends do it for me.
anyone who worked at bestbuy know the consequences for exchanging too many stuff without a receipt? i’ve done this with 2 angel complete collections and some games already.

Cast Away is another recent release involved… the first 3 Die Hard movies are also there… Ocean’s Thirteen… and more. I’m probably going to order a good 6 to 10 Blu-rays.
