You’re right, provided you don’t charge cancel the normal. Once you charge cancel, you’re replacing the recovery with Bison’s dash, which is always a fixed duration. So if you have fixed block stun and fixed recovery, the frame advantage doesn’t change, regardless of which active frame you hit with.

I’m not even sure what you’re saying here… by hitting meaty you’re still shifting the stun to later frames than if you were to hit on first active frame, regardless of whether you cancel or not.

Most likely you’ll have to hit with something low … c.MK or c.MP.

Right, the stun is shifted to later frames, but so is the cancel. You have to hit the opponent first before you can charge cancel.

For example, in AE, if you slide and then FADC forward, you’re always at -3 on block regardless if you hit the opponent early in the slide or at the end.

dame I hope not, I’ve been dodging learn to cancel those normals into EWGF -_- heres to hope that low fierce works.

another question hows Bison team super (don’t know the official name) act as AA?

i do jump mp x 2, stand mk to stand hk or jump mp x2 crouch fierce psycho crusher. I just hate the positioning you get out of the psycho crusher one

guys does bison have an answer to (punch, punch cross up then repeat to infinity ) I face a lot of them online and they cross up easily every time I kept blocking until I had meter so I can get out of the way . do you guys know any good tactic against those kind of players ( almost all the people I face online play like this)

move under the jump or jump too

I tried to move under it but bison does not move forward he just stay there blocking the cross up , jumping attacks does not work will against juri cross ups --
I tried to jump back and attack but it does not hit her -
- ( it kinda feel I am locked to blocking as the safest option for me )

Yous shouldn’t have a problem with those tactics.

1.If there being so obvious with jab jump cross up, a standing round house to the face should catch there jump/cross up attemp.
2.Teleport should end that stuff as well.
3.Jump Mp x 2
4. Ex PC which is a waste of meter since the above 3 should end the problem.

EX Devils Reverse works well too as advocated by The Bible…however, I think EX PC works better because the timing on EX DR is weird on wake-up.

Finally taking a little time to grind some Bison. So far, I don’t get this character at all. I’m not trying to suggest he’s bad, but he is hella different than his SF4 version.

Anyone have info on safe setups? Anti-roll tech? Anything? Most I’ve found is some safe-jumps against quick-standers…

Quick question is Ex knee Press still a good tool?

Ex Knee Press is Knee Press Nightmare now and is like -200 million on block. It still goes though fireballs but you have to be careful against Ryu cos he can cancel his fireball now.

Overall I’d say it is not useless exactly but you have to be damn sure it’s gonna hit now cos you’ll get your arse handed to you if it’s blocked.

why is it when I my Ex PC eats a projectile it doesn’t hit the opponent?
