I’m not sure what people’s consensus of Bison is in here, but I had the pleasure of playing some matches against Big Marcus the other night on netplay and he definitely made Bison work. If you’re a dedicated Bison player I wouldn’t give up just yet, he just takes a bit more work in this game.

Im not on my system right now so I can’t test out anything, so does Bison have any normals that he can dash cancel?
A dash cancel…? You mean like in his reveal trailer where he did HP to a dash? That was actually a special cancel.

Anything that can be special-canceled can be charge-special dash-canceled (CSDC? :wtf: )

I notice Bison now outpokes Chun, S.MK and S.HK out range both her S.MP and S.HP and are both 1 frame faster than Chun’s pokes. She still has S.HK but thats 13 frame start up. Also her S.MP on block is -3 now instead of +2. Won’t have to deal with her godly focus attack either and her godlike throw range which is now as bad as everyone elses.
I’m not feeling bison without a 3 frame poke.
Alright, now that I’ve had the chance to play as everyone, finally, I can go back to asking about Bison questions.
It seems like charge times have been reduced since IV, but I still seem to drop combos because I didn’t charge long enough for Scissors or PC. This is especially true for jump-in combos. Any particular method I should use to get enough charge?
Nobody has 3f pokes in this game beyond like two or three SF characters. Everybody’s got 4f-5f which is the “standard” in here.
So after spending yesterday swearing Bison was trash and that I wasn’t going to play him… I spent most of today playing Bison x Heihachi. I still want to focus on Lili/Raven/Heihachi … and I’m still not convinced Bison is all that great, but I’m back to where I’m not ready to swear him off. 
I found a way around c.lk>Scissors, instead of a c.lk>c.lk just do c.lk>s.lk>lk scissors worked for me!
yup or crouch lp but its not off a low
s.lk has more range, besides I do lk scissors super fast so s.lk is easier to go back and foward on the stick
yup, i never screw it up from a stand lk, also it’s a frame 3 now isn’t it?
