I just need to spend more time commiting his fight style to muscle memory, although I didn’t realize his air jump was so kick ass. I’m just going to have to force myself to play more Hakan instead of doing more work on my Gief when I practice this week.
On the subject of crisco canceling, I’ve been working on the FA > forward X strong > FADC crisco > forward X strong > oil slide combo. It’s so purdy when it all comes together. :wgrin:
Hey guys, great games this weekend. I’m still trying to recover from it. I forgot to get some money matches, but for sure next time I’ll have my dollars ready.
Thanks DKL for letting me crash at your place and for lending me Apollo Justice. I don’t think I would have made it home if I didn’t stop at your house.
Sorry Tao for not being able to take you home since we stayed so much later. Thanks for lending me your xbox, I will try and level up as much as I can.
shytzoo, thanks for hosting such a great event. I enjoyed the few games of GG and CvS2 that we had. Sorry I don’t remember much about the Sakura mirror matches we had, I was getting really tired by then.
I’m working on making my Sim and Sent combos beefy instead of shrimpy, in order to upgrade my top Ramen flavor here’s my steps of the moment toward not sucking with Sim Sent!
New combo to go off of any launch that doesn’t have flying screen set. Still have this one under 20% >.<
I know this is the basic Sentinel combo all Sent players should know, and now even though I mess it up like 80% of the time I do know it, hooray!
From the MvC3 potential twitter leak thing “Phoenix Wright was never seriously considered, but I do remember casual talk of him. Devs never took him seriously.” Sorry DKL
Edit: So I got the chance to watch all three matches. Hakan looks simple enough. Two or three basic combos, which can be FADCed on block for a mix up. Tick throw set ups. Baiting jumps to land an air throw. Nick, I bet if you spent a day or two with Hakan you could do pretty well with him.
I got my buttocks kicked a bunch, but I seemed to get a little better by the end of the night.
Keits read my mind <3 I watched all those videos and after spending the day training I think I have most of the basics down. It’s all a matter of timing s.HP and forward.MP for anti-air and learning those cool combos Wildcat was rocking.
