Wow, the thread feels so much more legit all of a sudden; thanks for posting that.
Cannot do cr. hp, feint, cr. heavy punch link…
It makes me sad.
For clarification, how do I tiger knee again?
I think I’m doing it wrong or making it harder than it has to be.
Cannot find my way out of his Vega vortex (or whatever it’s called).
qcb uf + p for thunder knuckle. f to d to u/f for seismo.
hey… im planning on getting a session going on at my place on friday night… im thinking like maybe 10 peoples tops, and some beers… i got 2 big screens and 1 25". If you guys are interested shoot me a message or something and ill give you directions… theres also a couple of beds if people need to crash.
Sounds interesting, but that’s literally the night before my LSATs, so I’m gonna have to take a pass; that said, lemme update thread.
EDIT:
Hm, that’s strange: is there a reason to do thunder knuckle after landing a seismo? Or is the tiger knee motion for thunder knuckle used for something else?
I miss playing street fighter : /
Hey so I was wondering, why is it that there’s only one session per week? I’m down for short weekday sessions Tuesday through Thursday if anyone wants to. I just need to know in advance. I can provide a copy of the game and a stick. Maybe an asus monitor if I can lug it out.
There actually doesn’t need to be one meet a week; feel free to use the thread to setup multiple meets a week (this might help people like Eddie and Kontra who are always busy on Satudays)…
I think the only real benefit of doing it on Saturday, outside of scheduling concerns, is that that’s when the place is open until 1am…
…
But, honestly, we don’t have the energy to make it that long, but it’s always an option.
EDIT:
Oh, with school and LSAT done, I might make it to some of these regular weekday meets; just post the details and decide a time and stuff and we’ll see what happens.
EDIT EDIT:
Also, you don’t really need monitors or whatever: you just need the game and sticks or controllers.
no one wants to swing by friday? =*(
I won’t be able to make that Fri session (I have to support the local SF sessions, heh), but it sounds mighty tempting. Maybe another time.

I miss playing your honda :crybaby:
I was watching some tutorials and I found this

The first half of the first link talks about Tiger Kneeing moves. The second link is about super jumps. There’s a lot more stuff in those tutorials, most of them are pretty basic but there are some neat things in there.
the thunder knuckle followup does more damage and stun than a flame kick followup.
the drawback is that it doesn’t work on far seismos and flame kick puts the opponent in a slightly better position.
I haven’t gamed with people in forever, is it true that there may in fact be Mahvel at these Eudemonia gatherings? If so are there other players here who actually play?
I have MVC2 on my hard drive (and Guilty Gear; god damn it Tao), but I don’t think anyone here actually knows how to play…
That said, if you dropped by and taught us, that would be kinda cool, actually.
I’m far from teaching status, but ever since Onikage disappeared I’ve been going into Marvel withdrawals. The game’s like crack, once you play it’s in your forever. X_X
