I ended up playing Silent Hill instead of trying to pick VIPER up…
Oh well… I’ll try again tomorrow after I come home from class (but not likely since I’m trying to finish Hotel Dusk for the DS; the art style for that game is so tight!)
Also, all the boss fights in Dead Rising 2 are stupid… the actual bosses are neat, but the fights are just fucking dumb.
I’ll never finish Dead Rising 2. I always get distracted with combining stuff (lightsaber ftw), forgetting about the case files, and end up having to restart the story.
actually ex seismo into ultra is easily hit confirmable. the only reason why people dont use it more is because it takes forever for the ex seismo to come out.
and yes, u need to tiger knee with her to cancel the recovery of her seismo on hit or block.
That said, I’m having a hard time doing super jump cancel with something other than doing it just from ex seismo (guess I’m not used to the motion); like… it’s hard to process it from a jump-in combo, as I’m not used to doing a dp from a simple combo (since, well… I rarely ever do a DP combo as I can’t hit-confirm that stuff good enough).
THAT SAID, another question:
Is it possible to do the cr. heavy punch, seismo feint, cr. heavy punch with ex seismo, or is this only possible using lp seismo?
And the secret last boss, since you lose all of your weapons; fffffffffffffffffffffffffff–
But thank god it’s over.

EDIT:
Also, given the lack of replies on the issue, I think I might attend the animu con on the 16th, so…
I’ll post details about how to get to the thing (it’s on the UC campus), but if you guys wanna still have it at EU that week, just take note that I won’t be in at that day (and, on top of Tao not being there, it’s going to be up to other people to get those logins)…
Please swing by! We really need to level-up on that Saks matchup (she’s underrated IMO). BTW, are you friends with Rodney? He’s a San Ramon-er that comes through EU on occasion.
Talking about that, Viper has pretty neat resets from Ex Seismo, but I apparently do them because I did air burning kick wrong; FML.
EDIT:
Also, I’m contemplating whether or not to open my copy of Lord of Shadows; I may just return it for a copy of the PS3 version, which apparently runs smoother.
I heard that the cut scenes and action kinda chug on the 360 version, but I’m not completely sure since no one seems to be making a comprehensive comparison between the two versions.
EDIT:
Oh my fucking god, the Neogaf thread makes me want to shoot myself:
And here I was thinking that my experience with the online anime otaku community was the worst.
I hate the internet so much.
Anyway, the thread is like a fucking train-wreck: it’s horrifying, but you can’t look away; I must’ve lost 10-20 minutes of my life reading the thing.
I think I’m mainly still reading the thing hoping that someone sets aside the bullshit long enough to actually talk about a comparison between the 360 and PS3 versions of the game (there are people cool enough to stay on topic, but it’s very hard to extract the most pertinent details given the amount of sifting that you have to do; it almost feels like it’s not worth it).
yeah… rodney comes over to my place all the time… his vega is dirty nasty. only vega i have problems with (and honestly i think the best vega in norcal). hes been trying to get me to come out to eu but the past few weekends i have been busy. and last weekend i fell down my stairs in a drunken stupor and wound up in the hospital. this saturday i should be able to go to eu though.
