Saturday
So is there something going on for sure this saturday? I’m tired of playing online and would like to talk smack to my opponents in person. Didnt know berkeley had a scene, im there all the time!

The only Saturday I’m not sure of right now is EVO Saturday (since people might not show up either because they are there or would rather watch the streams of the event… interestingly, there are computers up for rent in the shop, so people could just watch there if they want); I’m thinking maybe I should rent out the shop’s projector for 4 hours to stream stuff, but that’s 8x4=$32.
I need to talk to management again on FRIDAY and see if they’ll do it for us for free (not likely, but I might as well try: nobody uses that projector).
That said, yes, we do it EVERY Saturday… even if no one intends to show up, I’ll very likely be in the shop anyway, unless I post in this thread otherwise.
OH, snap: just got off the phone with RADICAL.
That said, he talked about how his studio area thingy apparently has TWO TVs in a common grounds place.
Uh, what this means is that people who want to bring setups (X-Boxes, PS3s, etc.) may be able to do so since we got that extra area with TVs.
Yeah, just keep that in mind when coming to the meet tomorrow.

DKL, so youre there every saturday from 6-10pm? i cant say count me in cuz SF isnt my first priority but its something i want to get involved with when i got nothing to do. the management @ EU seems cool since theyre willing to hear you out and possible work things out for the best.

I would do it from 3-10PM, but last week pretty much told me that it was physically impossible to do that.

Yeah, check the opening post: it’s near the McDonalds, which is near the GAMES OF BERKELEY shop.
That said, feel free to borrow my TE stick if you can make it down here one Saturday.
I think Tao is willing to lend his TE stick as well (but he actually plays on PS3; we’re trying to solve that issue right now and I think RADICAL REACTOR’S place might be our best bet at getting a PS3 up).

i really do wanna come to these sessions. but paying for it seems weird imo.
EU is an interesting place because it essentially comes down to renting space, which, from what I could understand, is one of the biggest challenges being faced by this community…
