ATM looks like we have (focusing on setups we have 2 sticks for)
5 displays (mine, dkls, zaku, nr^2 (2))
2-3 xboxs (me, rufio, dkl, too many stick owners to list)
1 ps3 (nr^2 console and stick, tao w/additional stick)
1 wii (zaku with console and converters, rufio with TvC stick)
1 ps2 (nr^2, zaku has additional stick)
how about organizing it like so?
1 setup blazblue (dkl’s console so we can have the DLC)
2 setups ssf4 (tao’s x360, and NR^2’s ps-triple)
1 3s (rufio’s x360)
1 last one for TvC or other games that ppl show interest in (mvc2, jojo, power stone, cvs2, etc), this could be the console hot swap station lol
alright so i jus bought the stuff to mod out my PS3 stick and my TvC one…so we can play on SANWA status stick…i needa find a bag to fit my xbox and my stick in…
I was thinking you know what would be help if anybody has a camcorder or Dazzle to do live streams for our event I’m sure we could see how the nor cal instal does some of their things that way in the future we could host our own big tournament set ups, and I really do think posting video of our matches and watching and hearing feedback would be a good way to level up our games. As far as funding goes we could do something like charge $5 for all day $3 would go to the fee of being there and the rest could go into a pot for future event upgrades and planning along with a donation account.
I actually have 2 sticks for PS3, one Madcatz tournament ed and 1 Hori Real Arcade Pro. And I can contribute a Hori stick as well as a Wii console plus TvC if its needed, as well as a 2nd PS2 with SF Anniversary Edition for 3S.
I have a bit of bad news for this weekend, but since there’s a tournament on Saturday night I have a feeling this won’t be too big of an issue… I was just rear ended on the freeway on my way home today, so I might not have a car for at least a week. If all goes well and the info I got from the person who hit me is all good, I’ll be there next weekend for sure.
From what I’m understanding though there’s not really going to be one of these gatherings this weekend, right?

Also, about my lcd monitor, the screen has the tendency to randomly go black for a few seconds, then come back. It has something to do with the VGA converter, since it doesn’t happen when its connected to a computer. I have no idea how to fix it though, so it might be a little annoying to play on it. BTW, I only have a wii to test this on. Haven’t seen how it works with another console.

Hi guys. Ill be in the EB this weekend visiting a friend. and we were gonna stop by and join ya guys. I was reading through and saw you guys were looking for a set up. I have a 19" LG flatron monitor. It has a vga, and a dvi connection in the back. I was going to sell that and a converter box that converts the RWY to green audio and VGA. I bought the convertor box for 30 dollars and the monitor for 200. I was hoping to sell both for 100. Let me know if any of you guys are interested. Pm me for pics, I would be happy to send them to you. =)
WE CAN USE THE TV; I did some digging around and I apparently have one of those converter things where it converts the RF into… whatever the fuck that yellow-red-white thing is.
ANYWAY, I’ll give it to you this weekend and you shall understand.

Hi, thanks for posting in the thread; you and your friend are totally welcome this weekend, but be weary of the fact that it’s actually going to be pretty crowded because of the NORCAL INSTALL event (which is primarily Blazblue, Guilty Gear and Melty Blood).
We are actually doing SUPER this week, however; I’m just saying that there’s going to be a lot of people packed at the back of the shop.
That said, we may be interested in the converter thingy… as for monitors, I think we may have more than enough at this point (as I’m in the process of finding a cheap CRT right now… just waiting for a reply from Craigslist people).
In any event, could you please send MaNoel pictures of the converter to check if we can use it?

alright one thing we needa do is plan out our weekends here. That is, after we sort out all the stuff we’re bringin’.
And my plan is to assign ppl what they’re brining on each given day and it’s up to that person to have that setup up forsure. Two ppl can contribute stuff to make up one setup that way making it easier for ppl to travel to EU w/o luggin hella stuff. thoughts?additions to my plan?
What about storage for the tv though? would it be possible to store it at EU, since I think lugging that thing around every week would be really annoying since it weighs a lot. It was kinda annoying taking it up to my apartment X.X

Sure, I can get it signed for you. They usually have autograph sessions, I’m not sure when it is though. I’ll find out when they post the schedule. Hopefully they post it soon since I have to plan this trip and I’ve never been to Sacramento.

So they have the schedule up, and there’s going to be a signing on saturday and another on sunday. I’m thinking about going to the one on sunday since I might be tight on time on saturday. So if you want DKL, you can give me your Cowboy Bebop copy on saturday and I’ll get it signed on sunday.
