Hey folks, I’m having a really bizarre problem. I run 3s in Mame32++ 0.119, everything’s neat. Runs like water through a sieve. But I play it on 0.117 and what do I get? A framerate of 2 fps if I’m lucky. I’m using the exact same files, tried all the settings, yet the problem persists. And those dweebs on Kaillera seem to refuse to use the latest version of anything.
Anyone else had this issue?
my hrap2 + usb converter doesnt seem to work well with 3s. i have a lot of trouble doing kara throw & qcfx2+ super, but it comes out when i press dfdf on the keyboard
Are you running them both from the same directory? If so, make a separate new one for each version. Don’t copy any settings over to them, start everything fresh.

have mame 32 0.91 version…i installed killera but it didnt work…where do i get killeria for this version?
Here’s a problem for you:
I’ve got v.117 and v.119 on my computer. A couple weeks ago 3S stopped working on 117. Loads up fine but then goes to a black/white color scheme and I can’t see shit. Sound plays fine so I don’t know what’s going on. This just happened out of the blue.
So I re-DL 117 because that’s the version everyone plays online with. The game runs fucked up again except this time the framerate and sound are godawful. 119 plays just fine offline. Haven’t tried it online yet. The 3S rom I have is the same one in both versions of 117 and 119. Do roms just go bad all of a sudden or what? Why would there be two different problems with two different versions of 117 but it’s fine on 119 when it’s the same rom?
By the way, I’d like to stay playing on 117 since that’s what the majority of the online players play on.
did you update your kailleraclient? stick with the sept 15 version! the october version have been reported to slow things down…
I think I have everything I need but it’s still not loading the rom…

I can only find GCC and doesn’t run as well on my computer for some reason.
3s runs great off line but when I play on line every time some one joins the server the game pauses, this is so annoying . any one know whats the problem?
Hey I’m new to the whole mame and kaillera scene and i’m having issues playing 3S online. When I enter mame for some reason I have to press f5 while hilighting the available file EVERY TIME for it to show up, but after I do that I see the SF3 file. I than can click on it and play it offline. However, when I try to netplay it on kaillera it doesn’t recognize the SF3 file and only gives me the options “Away message” and “Chat”. I have the newest copy of Kaillera (Nov 2nd).
When I audit roms I get this if this helps.

I have all the rom folders for 3S that i was told to download,(sfiii3, sfiii3_chd_file, and sfiii3n), and then used winrar cuz that’s what I was told to use, but it still says i’m missing stuff, can someone please help me?
You only need to keep the sfiii3n zipped if you want to play online, but that’s the Japanese version.
I guess that the chd file name is wrong.
Yeah i kept the sfiii3n and sfiii3 zipped and extracted only the sfiii_chd_file , but when i begin to play the game it says it’s not 100 percent emulated, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
