Young’s double-chocolate stout, Dogfish Head 60 minute or 90 minute IPAs, and Samuel Smith’s oatmeal stout. That’s pretty much it unless I’m doing drinking games. Then the Bud Lights come rolling out.
Oh, and since I live a couple of blocks from the Brooklyn Brewery I go there for their Brooklyn Dark Matter. It’s a bit of a punch to the face for a stout but it’s still pretty good.
Reviving this thread, as I’ve been getting in to my local craft beer scene the past couple years.
Also came back from a three week European trip in September, and had the time of my life. I basically drank my way through five countries.
Guinness just got itself a new fan. I didn’t like the stuff when I first tried it (3 years ago [when I was new to beer]), but I gave it another shot tonight and fell in love with it. I guess my palette is expanding.
Irish Car Bombs sound really tasty. I want to try one, but I haven’t had any chugging experience. :wow: I’m going to make it a goal to achieve such a feat of strength.
Also, I just ordered myself a set of pint glasses. :looney: Happy day.

Dopplebock: Celebrator Dopplebock
Lager: Stella Artois
Porter: Kona Pipeline Porter
Pilsner: Prima Pilsner
M’mmm… I tried Guinness Extra Stout today. Much better than Draught, imo… At least in comparison of the bottled versions. I have yet to try Draught on tap. Maybe I’ll swing by a bar in a couple of days to check it out.
I need to try out more dark beers. Any recommendations?
