League Play, Registration is Friday May 4 and Saturday May 5. The winning teams from last year are team captains this year. That means they will get to pick their team mate, they cannot pick another team captain. 2 man teams. 40 dollars from each player will be place in the payout prize money. This can be paid in 2 payments. Contact me or Mike if you need to make other arrangements. All money is going in pot for prize money. GTSouth will not be taking any money.
You have to be 19 to enter, due to us being a Tavern and Alabama ABC board rules you have to be 19 to get in the Tavern. No alcohol will be served to league players while the league is in progress. You may purchase fountain drinks and food. Outside food will be allowed in, Outside beverages will not be. By law we are not allowed for customers to bring in their own drinks due to we cannot vouch what is in the drink. League will start at 5pm Saturday. You will be given only a 15 minute late arrival grace period. After that you are disqualified for that round.
Handicap rules are still in play. This year with it being 2 man teams if only one player can show up then that player will play both the players from other team. Score cards will be covered Friday and Saturday.
Unlike last year Friday and Saturday will be the only 2 days for registration after that there will be no more teams allowed in on this league play season of 2 months. After league is over if you are under 21 you will have to pack up and go. We are only allowing 19 -20 in for league play. Sorry but don’t won’t to pay fines if you are caught drinking.

Since school about to let out for me, I’m just gonna be working this summer. WHICH MEANS MOAR GAME TIME… and big chance I’ll be off on Fridays or get off extra early, which might make attending Drink Nights at Auburn VERY likely. Looks like I may be able to make EVO as well. I had a dream I was there and I challenged bala to a money match and won. After I won and walked outside he shot my ass and took the money back. While I understand we can’t pick a game to fit everyone, the overall opinion for the majority of those that come quite often to the Tavern has been SCV as the next League game. We will eventually go to a broader spectrum with different leagues and single tournaments but for now this gets things kicked back off on the competition side at GTSouth.
