After playing it for a few days, I’ve got to say that I’m really disappointed with CS2. I don’t like the extremely corner-centric direction they took with the game and Hakumen has been ruined in my eyes. I’m not even complaining about the nerfs–I loved him when he was “worse” in CT–it’s that he feels like a different character. They took the things I liked about him (counters being high risk/high reward, being a power character, and the ability to be flexible with his playstyle via choices concerning magatama usage) and butchered them. I don’t even really have fun when I play him anymore, and no other character in the game ever appealed to me.
In CS1 and even back when CT was out, I couldn’t wait to jump into training mode as soon as I got home. Now I really have to force myself just to boot the game up.
June 18th for Monthlies, Count me in.
I’m not sure if Im gonna make it up for the Hama-con tourney with the Huntsvegas crew though
Of course, definitely try to go to this. Closer to July, I can have more time to get to tournaments. For now, I gotta get some hours in to have money for EVO.

What’s up Bama? I’m trying to seriously pick up Guile and Rose. Rose especially, IMO she’s the most fun character in SF4. I tanked like 1000PP but hey, what are you gonna do.

And as for AE, I’m still not sure if I’m gonna pick up Yun. I feel like everybody is going to lol. E. Ryu does look badass though.
Don’t feel bad about tanking PP, I did that when I was switching to Vega. I think I’m gonna pick up Balrog, so it’s gonna happen some more. Luckily AE points are separate so it’s gonna start over.
