Raekwon has just confirmed earlier today that he’s getting back on the BB saddle when Extend drops. This is in addition to TheGMan picking the game up over Tager hype, Pat who never stopped playing, Derrell who is getting back into the game when it releases, SolidPlay who has expressed interest in getting a copy, and myself (obviously). If anyone here has ever been interested in learning/playing BB, the release of BBCSE will be the time (Feb in U.S., Dec if you plan on importing). B’HAM BB REVIVAL, GET HYPE.
If you play on 360, add me (XBL: Skeletal Minion) and I can teach you some stuff online. If PS3, I unfortunately don’t have one, but I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about the game, just post here or PM me. If nothing else, we can get some games in at the next tourney. Shame we don’t live closer, I’d love to get some casuals in.
On a side note, I finally retired the Nokia brick and am the proud owner of a new iPhone 4. I’ve been reading up on a ton of stuff so far (learning features, essential apps, general advice on how the make the most of it, etc.) and I’m enjoying the hell out of it. Thanks to all for the Sprint warnings and to whoever recommended Tapatalk, that app is godlike.
I mean, personally im still going to buy SFxT because it still looks fun as shit, regardless of all the dumb shit. Yeah it’ll be hard to regulate for tournies but that’s not going to stop me from enjoying it casually. Like i love and enjoy brawl, but im never entering tournies for that shit because once you start putting restrictions on a game it becomes less fun. Like 0 items, no smash, no metaknight, and only final destination literally takes everything that makes that game fun out. I feel the same way about SFxT. I mean online 1/1 vs 1/1, online training mode, and etc just looks like a lot of fun. But If they start banning gems and getting very strict on regulations for a tourny setting, then ill take a pass on it.
Also SoulCalibur 5 is looking better and better to me. Looks like more reliable combos, a meter system, and cancels n’ shit. Looks fun as hell. Also character creation is something that i feel adds just more of a casual enjoyment into the game and more replay value if you have to unlock pieces like in SC4. I’ve completely given up on Soul Calibur and story after 3, and character selection so far isn’t bugging me, im pretty okay with the choices so far. And as far as guest characters, Ezio was a great choice. Its kinda in the same lines as SFxT for me for now, until i see how much of a community AL has, and how the game develops.
Skullgirls was so fucking fun at SB you wouldn’t believe. I played that shit for like, 12 hours straight. Peacock/Ms.Fortune all the way. I love how it feels like im playing an amazing mixture between MvC2 and BB. It was so much fun. Even money matched a few guys to it. I think it coming out at the beginning of next year, and how SFxT is looking, that its going to have a much larger scene than most people thought. Im so excited for release.
Also, KoF has always been mehsome to me, so im just going to play it at casuals and not put much effort into that one. Same thing for BBCSE, ill play it at casuals but i don’t think im going to shell out 60$ for a whole new game that only includes just one character. Im not big on BB story, although its good, i don’t feel its worth buying a whole new game for it.
after kof13 comes out if it has good netplay there will be no reason to play sf4 ever again :confetti:

So far it seems KOF13 and BB may have a solid following. Skullgirls and 3S should be decent, SCV is iffy, and SFxT is obviously looking lackluster as far as competitive play. Same 'ol, same 'ol for AE and MVC3. Arcana seems to have died out, since I haven’t seen anyone mention it here in a while, and I haven’t seen anyone play up here (in ATL) in a while, either.
If I’m lucky, I can see some dudes at Tension Pulse. Let’s hope that work schedule works out.

Ok. Let’s see. Hype for UMvC3. EXTRA hype about KOFXIII(Free you betta not flake on me with this one like you did in vanilla MvC3). Still plan on getting SFxT regardless if don’t nobody else take it seriously. Will play BB on occasion. And that will pretty much cover all the stuff I’m looking forward to.
BTW Mikuru. First, a 10-3 streak on KOF on my first time playing, then getting wins with Fisher Price: My First Day with Oni. Slippin boss. LOL. j/k.
Still super fucking salty about them removing Wesker’s “Vergil” costume.
COMPLETELY ruined the possibility of Wesker, Dante, Vergil all wearing “Vergil.” They removed it because it made him look too similar to Vergil wearing Vergil -> but gave Dante a “Vergil” costume, who… looks more like Vergil than Wesker does already anyway? Capcom is full of trolls. Full of them. And I hope they all burn -.-
