its sort of hard to justify that even, considering that all those characters i listed as beating her just already rush down in a way that mostly ignore the angles her assist covers anyway or just have moves to straight up beat her assist.
she’s just straight useless against a haggar assist team. the more ridiculous thing is that haggar comes out and is more effective on point than she is.
i’m not making these claims in vacuum btw, i’ve played a good bit as tron myself and Pauliwood used to only use a team with tron until he gave up because of how bad wesker destroys tron. I used to play against his tron team 100+ games in a row from time to time.

Played many games against both TJ (100+), Anotak (500+) and Pauliwood (500+), and I can agree with this statement.
Haggar has bad matchups because he’s slow. Tron has bad matchups because she’s slow, huge, and her only mixup gets punished for free against anyone with a decent standing light. Combine this with the fact that Haggar’s assist is just plain better, and you have zero reason to ever pick this current incarnation of Tron, minus a couple of flimsy at best Phoenix kill setups. If you even think of picking Tron, pick Haggar instead.
Is anyone else going to Seasons Beatings besides 645? I know me and Raekwon are planning on making the trip. Not sure on who else is though. Just wanna get a gauge of the competition.

Maybe one of these days the general fighting game community will start playing what’s good instead of jumping on whatever has Capcom in the credits. But who am I kidding, Duke Nukem Forever was a complete piece of shit and it sold 500k copies just because it had DOUK on the cover.

Do you really think that Thor and Felicia have better match-ups against dante and phoenix and wesker than tron? I’ll agree that people can be godlike with some bad characters, but tron is much easier to fit on a team(and more viable alone) than someone like thor who is nothing but a vitality gauge. And maybe tron can’t do a lot against wolvie, but neither can felicia unless the felicia player is just legitamately better.
At least tron has a relatively good assist to help out against rushdown teams and some range. PR Rog proved that Tron is capable of holding up against a phoneix team.
