Seeing as it’s not open yet (and probably won’t be until later this semester) I don’t know what’s even going to be there, let alone any rules on bringing a setup for fighting games.
Ideally, I’d like to have weekly fight nights on Fridays, maybe monthly tournaments further down the road.
The old game room was a giant CRT TV set with an Xbox 360, you could bring your own game and controller if you wanted but anything that belonged to the school you had to check out by leaving your student ID card. That went away over a year ago when some shit apparently got stolen. And it was mostly Halo 3 and NCAA 09 going on, I did bring Blitz: The League II over one time and just styled on this one guy, haha.
Like I said, I can always ask someone and see if bringing a system, games, controllers and small TV or monitor would be cool (and most importantly, people from outside the school gasp!) For now I’m thinking about bringing my laptop and TE stick to where World of Wings is going some time this fall until the game room opens up and I find out more.
I got a fantasy football draft that got pushed to tonight 7:30. I’ll try to hit up Haven after. How long do you guys usually stay till? Last time i went it was around 10-11?
