I’m somewhat new to the SF scene and have already introduced myself in the other thread. I came from the Smash scene, as zerogamer knows, and I hope to be better at sf4. So…what’s up?
I main Gen(lol), and I second whoever I feel like for that day, though some of my characters are obviously better than others. Add me on xbl if anyone want’s some games. I’d like to get involved in the sf scene, though work and school can prohibit me sometimes. Let me know if anything is going on around the b’ham area.
I plan to stop by for some smash at 8:30PM (since that’s the time you suggested) … uhm, is it okay that I don’t have a GC controller because my GC is left back at home?
Backwards compatible PS3s have a built in 2-3 frame delay when playing ANY PS2 games. Playing GGAC on a lag-free setup is essential since lots of stuff (mainly FRCs) require very strict timing and you’ll just be messing yourself up if you play on something that lags (trust me, this is something I learned the hard way).
Get a used PS2 and a memory card, we can help you get whatever games for it
Well since everyone is introducing themselves I might as well too…sup, I’m an Auburn student and I hang out at the game room a lot playing SSFIV. I main Honda but also play Bison and Ken. My favorite fighting game by far though is GG, I play my roommate almost daily (he has a damn good Slayer but bitches a lot whenever I use Potemkin Buster). I main Potemkin but also play Ky, Robo-Ky, Sol, and Johnny (really though I’m only decent with Pot and Ky). I also have a really shitty Bang in BB.

you could of just asked nearly anyone in the game room about raph’s game night on friday we invite all those game room people… ppl that will know would be T, kevin, jared, wes, hodges, robert, maybe that guy luker or that guy griffin will know but they are pretty new… that guy greg that works there should have my number, stacey that works there she probably has my number…

also i might be in the game room on my lunch break from work around 11 (i’m not currently a student but i was last semester and i work on campus… sooo). i dont really play super but i will be around… if i play anything it would be marvel, but even that is unlikely because fuck using a controller on a laggy tv
