Regarding The Deep: I will try to remember to pick up some longer extension cords/power strips and donate them to the group. I will get them to someone that can be there early enough. Since it looks like 18:30 at the earliest for me ever for now. Would like to be able to set up on two rows of tables there as that will make a bigger impression.
parry loop doesn’t help her deal with top tier BS. Litchi will still BNB her for 4k ending with corner knockdown pressure off of 2A, Bang still stuffs all of her normals with 5A/5B/jB. But they’re not at all considerably more powerful than her without parry loop, she still gets [media=youtube]aDyhF6G9h5E[/media] off of random normals, has a bunch of mix-up shenanigans, DP RC’s into 3.6k ending with corner oki from anywhere on the stage… =P People drastically overrate how much she needed parry loop.

I just wanted to add myself to the B-ham scene. I live around Lakeshore, Homewood.
I’ll go ahead and state that I’ll promise I’ll be fairly scrubby. My fighting game experience mostly began in high school with Super Smash Bros: Melee, and just like everyone else thought I was pretty awesome because WOAH I WAS LIEK UNTOUCHABLES and related it to being awesome at fighting games in general… continuing on to IaMP, MBAC, and hisouten/hisoutensoku and for my first real ‘in-depth’ fighters, casually dipping around the online community for those.
However, I now have a girlfriend who destroys me regularly in MBAC; therefore now proving to me how actually fairly scrubby I actually was. (No MBAA, don’t have the resources to play MBAA 
)
I play BBCS mostly exclusively now, just started dipping into Tekken 6, and probably going to purchase SSFIV soon. I’m open to try out other games, just don’t expect that much of a challenge until 6 months from now. (or more >.<)
Another B’ham player, awesome! I’m actually not too sure of the geography of the Alabama community, but there are quite a few players in the Birmingham area, most of them play SSFIV and BBCS, but I’m sure some of them won’t mind playing Tekken 6 and MBAA.
I play Melee and Brawl and I know a couple of other Melee players in the B’ham area that I practice with regularly if you’re still interested in Smash.
You should private message Skeletal Minion if you’re wondering about gatherings. He knows more than me about the community and he usually hosts gamefests a couple times a week.

Valkenhayn is awesome. I’m not maining him though because he doesn’t revolve around Beast Cannon combos. Wolf mode is fast and its systemed like Tao but in one major difference: Valkenhayn literally flies off the screen if you don’t stop him. Other than that, he cool.

Good games to Phoeynx and Derrell in the 3 anime games of doom (MB, GG, BB). I think I’m going to casually quit GG at tournaments soon unless I do that ‘07 grind type shit. I’m slippin’ too hard and I haven’t been in a tournament for that since '08. Also fuck Blazblue. Melty and Guilty is all I got to be good in now.
Well, I don’t play Brawl. I hate playing Brawl. But when I do I play ROB.
In melee I mained Samus/Fox, subbed Dr. Mario/C Falcon (trolled with jiggly) primarily, that was in high school so I was very highly influenced by tier lists back then and eventually moved from samus to fox (those 70% up smash kills).
I’m not really sure who I could say as a ‘main’ for BBCS yet. I’m familiar with Hazama and Lambada (can do the 2147d loops with her) but still working on Valk (who isn’t xD).
My only problem with Valk is that as this point, I’m just convinced he’s an inferior Ragna. It’s like, he trades inferno divider for wolf, and ragna can combo from throws midscreen while valk can’t. Wolf super is like exactly like Carnage Scissors except it you can’t cancel it. And Valk has ultimately lower health because he can’t lifesteal x.x. Valk also seems to have problems comboing air-to-air unless you’re already wolfed, or maybe I should just tack on 214b with a j.b hitconfirm and go into typical air finisher.
Valk 5C and 6C is awesome though. I kinda wanna go through training mode and figure out how to counter 6C. Said friend doesn’t do anything but block or melty 2a on wakeup so he never really countered it through our 30 matches. Also, he mains Haku and Lamb, well: wolf D~C goes over 5D lamb swords like Jin Ice Cars. That’s always nice 
As for days… well… I’m a last year student at Samford’s pharmacy school, I kinda work everyday. Usually I get off around 5 every day but with assignments and what not; we don’t just work for free, but usually have nightly things to study : /. So… it varies from day to day. Weekends are usually free, though this weekend (this might had been a bad time to sign up and get involved XD) I have to head back home with the family in Fayette, which is a 2 hour drive from here.

I might drop by and show my face, Zero. That’s only like 8 minutes from where I live. Did you mean tomorrow as in September 30 or October 1st? (you posted at 3:17 AM, different people have different technicalities for ‘tomorrow’ xD) Only thing interferring is that my girlfriend is a giant type-moon addict and the UBW DVD releases today… so depends on how fast the subgroups can get it done. If it’s done tonight well, that’s what we’ll be doing. 
EDIT: Oh, this is good news. This means I can buy and start playing GGAC+ without worrying about having no one to play with. :DDD
Let’s make an issue about it tonight, or at least figure out who has what for each system. I may need to offer to do some dual mods for a few if I could find the time.
In other news, I have a full 360 setup in my trunk this time to bring directly from work. Hooray for cooler weather.
