After much testing and talking with partners. We are going to be using Asus VE248H Black 24in monitors, I thank you all for the advice and help. I think this monitor will work out, I have one on the way so we can test it out. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and look forward to seeing you at the event.

Not a whole lot of difference, it’s just one inch smaller and 30 bucks less.

well we are going try our best too. We have some other stuff that we also look into doing down the road. GTSouth is here to listen to what people want. As far as SC goes we didn’t know if there was a big enough following for it to be worth wild to try.
How many people here are familiar with the Vulcan Gamebox? I talked with Shin about possibly holding a get together there a little after AH3 drops for some casuals, but I just want to see a ‘raise of hands’ first to see who all is interested. I was thinking about getting an all day pass since it will be the first time I’m meeting you guys.
Whoever knows that they are getting AH3 shortly after it releases, let me or Shin (Silent Shinobi) know. I’m trying to get a group together for some weekly casuals, especially since FR is in March and I want to prep for that. So, for those interested, just let me know. Don’t wait for someone else to step up and say, “Yeah, I am” before you actually say something.
This isn’t high school, lol. So if you are in the Birmingham area and want to play some AH3 shortly after it releases or if you’re willing to travel to the Birmingham area, speak up. We need to go ahead and get this started, so some of you need to quit waiting until the last minute and go ahead and tell me if you’re interested.

btw, I know about Gamebox. They’ve had a bunch of Smash and Starcraft II tournaments for a while now. I tried convincing them to consider fighting games, but I’m very uncertain of Alabama’s willingness to travel.
yep it took Game Galaxy’s acquirement of AE for some of us to travel (same for the Atlanta Fight Club with MvC3)

Tetsuya Hikari: One of my close friends is getting AH3 along with me. He’ll be coming along too (granted he’s off but if he isn’t, you’ll be seeing him later that day). Like we were talking about last time, it’s hard enough to find people that like fighters in this area and we pretty much narrow that down even more when looking for someone who likes AH3 in particular. My money situation is fine right now, so just let me know if you need some help, man. I’ll do what I can.
Well, if you’re ever in the Montgomery area when AH3 comes out, you can always look me up if you like. I plan on manning up and throwing the money on the LE box anyway and hopefully I’ll be able to get back into AH after the AH2 disaster.
mikuru a few of us in auburn will be willing to try ah3, maybe not play it for serious but i’d be willing to try it and i know one or two others feel similarly. i don’t really like the char designs except fiona but i’ve never really been into the series and i know ah1 match vids look pretty dry but i’ll give this a try aight (don’t know what’s in 3 or 2 cuz the ah2 port issues made me not give a shit, not that i gave much of a shit about ah1)

You couldn’t give a shit about AH1, but still love AH3. They’re about as similar as ST is to SSFIV. So yeah…don’t go into this disappointed when trying out AH3 and think it will be like AH1, cause they’re not even close.
Also, what are your standards like anyway? You’ve got a cast with 20+ and you can only find one character that you actually like the design of? Yeah, okay, lol.
