Man fuck dictator, he needed a big nerf. Gouki had almost no way at fighting him due to his godlike c.lk and scissors kick pressure, not to mention U2 eliminated any run away game with gouki. Ryu getting nerfed, Dict gets nerfed, Cammy gets nerfed, Guy gets buffed, along with Ibuki and Sagat, Gouki is basically the same, I’ll be in heaven when I play SSF4 AE. 
I just don’t like how they’re making the game even more defensive and reliant on pokes. I’m not saying they should try to make it like Marvel, but simple things like shortening the very wide reversal window would make the game more fun to watch at high levels and discourage people from developing bad fundamentals.
Saying, “OMG he did a reversal when the window is shorter than in Super!” does not sound like something anyone would say nor something that would be noticeable to watch.
I think the only way to make Street Fighter IV play less defensive is to change it into an anime game. It seems like all Street Fighter games are uber defensive.

What I meant about the reversal window thing was that if the window was shorter players would be more willing to perform combos instead of baiting reversals/crouchtechs and then punishing. Of course mindgames would still be important (they’re important in ST where the window is like 1 frame) but it’s a change that I would love to see implemented.

I stand corrected, but I think anything can go to whatever spectrum at a heartbeat. Sometimes I see divekick rape… sometimes I see Hadoukens, Hadoukens everywhere, but that’s to be expected when they’re so solid. ST certainly plays faster than SFIV, but that couldn’t mean it’s just as defensive. One thing’s for certain though, ST is a lot more interesting.
