:wtf:
any thing happening around south AL?
Shit I was talking about how it didn’t fix any of the offline glitches or bullshit. But I suppose playable is about the nicest thing you could say about the online. Looking back the amount of hype and suspense surrounding the netcode is hilarious since Namco was all like “this’ll be way better than DRO/SCIV” and lo and behold it’s the same shit exactly.
That sucks man, sorry to hear it but in contrast I’m glad to hear you’re trying to make the transition. The HRAPEX’ll cost you an eye and an ear but it’s a good start. If you can secure any of the SFIV sticks (be they standard or tourney) that’d be ideal. Also any DOA/Blazblue/VF Horis (they look the same save for a little game specific art) wouldn’t be a terrible start (although in the long run they will suck.) If I had an XBOX stick I’d let you borrow one but the only one I have is the dual-modded one (and it’s kinda sacred).
A good place to look for deals is probably the Tech Talk of this forum and EBAY. Amazon’s not terrible but they’re kinda pricy.
Anything going on in Alabama in general?
Isn’t the MvC 2 stick the same as a SF 4 TE on the inside? Trying to dual mod this thing.
:bluu: where are all those guys that went to gamestop sf4 tourney? oh well if you guys are heavy into sf4 and t6 play n trade in gulfport ms is going to have a ranbat starting up soon. who’s interested?
Ah, okay, thanks for the help.
But what glitches are there in T6? I haven’t seen any at all.
I attended the GameStop tourney. I won the first round held in Vestavia Hills and came runner up at the second at the same location. I must ask though: You do realize a good portion of that tourney’s participators were scrubs, right? I doubt the majority of them would be willing to go to Miss. for a ranbat of all things. MAYBE something like FR in ATL but that’s about it. I’d go to a lot more tourneys if my car was in better shape. It’ll probably be in 2010 before I get all my bills/tickets/shit straightened out. Maybe then.
Haven’t seen? As in, you have the game? Either way there’s the position reset glitch in training mode. The position reset will randomly, after a certain period of time activate and display itself on screen. Checking the training menu removes it quickly but I’ve had it happen to me a few times in one singular session. It can happen in the middle of WHATEVER you are doing so hopefully it wasn’t a fairly tough combo you were just getting the hang of.
The other glitch, which is much less harmful and well known is the training mode menu glitch. After a certain amount of pauses in freestyle mode (the basic training mode apart from defensive training and vs cpu) the entire training mode menu will disappear save for a small bar displaying which of the training modes you’re in. It’s really the closest thing to a “Clean Pause” as I’ve told others. I only discovered it while trying to see the exact from of something with hit analysis turned on. (Hit analysis is a feature that allows you to see the frame(s) in which the game will and will not accept inputs from players.)
Yeah, I have the game. I’m a scrubby Alisa/Marduk, but I’m having a ton of fun with this stuff. Soooo much better than Soul Calibur. We should play sometime.
Those glitches don’t seem too bad to me, though. Maybe it’s because I use position reset all time when training.
