golfland policy is that 100% of the pot money in tournaments HAS to go to the players. so, what we should do is either do the donations secretly, or openly and allow the winners to graciously give the money to charity. the manager says that once the money is won, the players can do whatever they want with it, but the money raised has to go to the players.
I wonder, when the time comes, if the winner will be able to give away his winnings? Hmmm.
That’s legal, and was my plan of course for MvC2/CvS2. Well then, in that case, let’s talk online. We can still do the tournament the way we want to do it, but it’ll just take a spin. =]

It’s not the pot money if it’s taken out for the Hurricane Katrina Relief funds BEFORE the tournament starts. The scenerio is $3 to enter for MVC2/T5/3S and $2 donation to the relief funds. By doing so, you’re not really just giving the $2 away, in return the players that entered any tournament, get a slice of pizza, which you’ll be taking care of and I’m willing to help if any additional money is needed and small soda(I will provide the cups and soda on the day).
i posted the tournament on tz. so we should get some results. hopefully 10+ will show up.
as for the money, i dont care how it is done i just want to say what management told me. that way i am held blameless. remember, this is my job, i have to take it more seriously.
anyways, sorry bhushan, i never put an away message up and i always seem to miss you. tell me what i can do to help with the tourney.

Sorry to inform everyone, especially Anthony, that we can not have the Katrina Fund Raiser at the tournament. Reason being is the policy per Golfland management is to have any money in the pot go to the winner(s) as Troy mentioned yesterday. I went over to Golfland today to find out in detail earlier today. Anthony, if you want to know exactly what we went over including other options, let me or Troy know, we can discuss is on AIM.
