Some absolutely brilliant play between both of these guys. IMO, Air is the best ryu I’ve seen at the moment. Diago seems to be going downhill quickly. I’m sure the beast will back to his beasting best, but at the moment I enjoy watching Air’s Ryu instead of Daigo’s.
^ Air is really good at the mo, but I have still seen him lose some questionable games that make me wonder if hes consistant enough to be numero uno. Daigo will bounce back. He seems just little bored of something ATM. He needs a new spark.
EDIT : Guess we will find out next week. 
With super they added the wall bounce feature and in the sf x tk vids he had the joudan kick, i wonder why they are not adding that to super as an update…that would make him more interesting.
but i don’t get why yall are getting surprised that he’s losing, like everyone else ain’t playing a better character than ryu at this point in super…
^ you can hardly say “everyone is playing a better character”. Ryu is still… what?.. top 8, something like that? That’s better than about 80% of the cast.
well, hopefully we get some intense Ryu action in the next couple of weeks with valle/daigo at SCR and air/daigo at canada cup - so hype!!!

Daigo loses to Sim player…again! which is getting kinda normal. Like I’ve said before, this matchup is heavily in Sims favour. Daigo makes the matchup look closer then it actually is…but hey that discussion is for another day.
GGs. Man, you must have been pissed about dropping those SPS combos against gamerbee. You were playing great against him. You had some really effective sweeps. sucks that you can’t safejump off of sweep against adon.
Against keno you missed that sps link too and it cost you the first game. Overall, i thought you had him in a lot of those rounds. He was abusing that EX dash on wakeup - what is the best counter to that?
You looked good in both matches though. :).
Luken; only watched Gamerbee match. GGs, just a few points.
- You FAd a lot. not worth it VS Adon.
- Try S.LP inside his JK ranges, ive had good success with this.
- Dont jump, lol
- If you cant hit the SPS links dont even try. by this i mean if you feel youre not going to, if youre nervous or w/e. Dunno if this was the case or if you just happened to mess it up, but personally, unless im really confident about it, ill ditch the C.FP and just SRK.
- You need to change up your footsies. C.FK was good for a while, but I think it was readable in the scond game.
hmmm… thnk thats all. I dont have enough time to go into details at the mo. Your Ryu is great man, IMO with a few tweaks here and there youll step up your results greatly.
also just check your Adon match-up. There were a couple things about the match that to me didnt seem right. Your FBs - you didnt do enough. The S.LP thing… i think you have really good fundamentals but I wasnt quite convinced by your match-up knoledge. just my opinion, you did better than I would have.
Good matches. Too bad you dropped SPS+c.HP combo on the very first round, you had good momentum :<
I’ve been taking in all of your advices (Don’t know if I worded that correctly). I am still working on not relying on the focus attacks so much. I think my Adon match up experience has improved slightly since I played Gamerbee.

You can do a Forward j.fp and the correct spacing and time with OS Tatsu so if he does wake up EX Dash punch, you will land on the other side and OS Tatsu will come out for the punish. I need to make a video about it because you can safe jump a lot of things people thought you couldn’t. People always tell me my jump ins are ambiguous, and I get a lot of cross up fp on their wake up.

I was actually relieved to see Daigo beat this guy for being such a lame dick. I hate it when people get beat out because of this extreme turtling bullshit.
pfft don’t hate on that blanka. That is the most effective blanka I have seen against a ryu. he was very careful on when to attack. That match is less frustrating to watch than and Sim match.
Its a hate/respect sort of thing. Goes hand in hand.
