Hey there y’all, I need some advice for the akuma match up. We have a pretty strong akuma in the area, and I’m always looking for more tips to win. I have 2 matches recorded from a casuals this last saturday, if you’d be willing to take a look it would be appreciated.

I play the light colored ryu, dark ryu is my randomized teamate for the 2v2 tournament we had.
that akuma player and I money matched after, I took the first one 3-2. but sadly that one didn’t get recorded, he wanted a chance to win his money back so we played again, and this is the result: [media=youtube]KGUjZpQ_KTw[/media]

So what are your thoughts on Daigo using Guile instead of Ryu?
Nothing new for daigo. He’s been a fan of guile in the past just as much as ryu. And he played ken in 3rd strike. People may not believe it, but he does know how to play more than the one char. He just chose not to for sf4. We’ll see what happens now.

Some SSF4 Poongko action!

Good stuff, the last set of matches I saw from Poongko showed him getting massacred by Infiltration(Akuma player) in a first to 15. He’s no longer the best SF4/SSF4 player in South Korea anymore, but he’ still so entertaining to watch.
That he is, maybe am a super n00b but he executes those 1 frame links and combos so damn smoothly. I just saw that Infiltration set and that sure was brutal.
Poongko has great execution and rushing game, but his footsies and zoning are not that great.
He’s still fun to watch tho.
