Ok so whether or not you’ll be strapping on the spandex, let us know if you’re going to any of the cons this summer. From what I remember there’s Otakon, NYCC + NYAF, and San Diego Comic Con. Theres tons more as well.
Which ones are you going to? Who are you cosplaying as? And which cosplay of the opposite sex are you hoping to see? I better see some Juri cosplayers out there.

I normally go to Otakon, it’s always fun. Cosplay just isn’t for me though.

Maxx, you and your friend should make a “Top 10 Dos and Don’ts of Fighting Game Tournaments”. I think it needs to be done.

i feel like half my list applies to fighting game tournaments…outside of if you play mvc2 stop acting like your in the hood when your in a fuckin hotel.

99.9% chance Anime Expo will suck this year.
It’s pretty much confirmed there will be no arcade.
But AX has arcade every year.
And this year, they even giving $5 for arcade use to Premier Badge holders.

Going to Animenext, Otakon, and NYCC. And some cosplay meet up nearby. Post a pic or two here after you wear the cosplay out at the con. Valaris is right, theres a hot girl cosplay thread and bad cosplay thread in the Images section.
Edit: Also true story about the “Staff” and security. They are on a total ego trip sometimes. Way worse than any bouncers I’ve bumped into.

God Im sorry if you guys cosplay as Square characters, but I am tired of seeing that Kingdom Hearts guy and Sephiroth everywhere. The mass numbers of them, kinda help hurt each other. Why be original when you can follow the crowd.
Im looking to do some SF cosplay, Fist of the North Star cosplay, and some Dark Wolverine. Bumped into a few girls and a model who are going to the cosplay events. Always fun to go with the chicas to the conventions.
Should go man. The summer is the time to kick back and do random fun shit you wouldnt normally do. All the anime cons are in the summer.
My excuse for doing anything geeky, slutty, or skankish is “Hey its the summer.” This summer will be no different.
