The first episode of that arc, I was thinking “wow, this is so stupid and pointless.” But once they revealed that it was a whole timeloop I thought “oh, now it’s getting interesting. . .but the fact that they repeated the entire 2 week timeloop again is still stupid and pointless.”
And then the 3rd episode of the arc came along. . .and it was really stupid, and really pointless. Nothing happened. If you want to demonstrate the ‘despair’ of having to relive something, it can be conveyed WITHOUT going through the same shit you’ve gone over 2 times before.
