I thought the first season of HnI was really good. I think you should watch it and the movies because it gets you accustomed to the characters and the whole show. I think watching the episodes and seeing all the stuff animated with voices adds to the experiences and is an instance where I personally feel the show has more soul than the manga (the mangas damn good but the animation and voices adds some much more impact to the boxing and characters).

So I got to episode 17 on Ghost in the Shell SAC. I’m loving this so far, especially since the original GITS movie is still one of my favorites. I gotta say, a lot of people say that the stand alone episodes tend to be boring compared to the complex ones, but I disagree. At least up until episode 17, most of the laughing man based episodes have been the least interesting, so I’m hoping it gets better. Batou really is one of my favorite characters, wish there was more episodes focusing on him.
My favorite is the bicycle race. I think it’s the 3rd ep.
They really should’ve kept this going.

You should check out the manga if you haven’t already. I always thought that he never banged any of the chicks he met cause I saw the anime first. He’s doing chicks like crazy in the manga.

So it turns out that the mysterious man was Izumi’s butler, Kotetsu. Even when falling into the trap, he goes for the “Yes homo!” option because Hayate is that good looking. Plus he’s pretty desperate as well, it seems, to the point of kidnapping Nagi as a hostage just to summon Hayate.
Fortunately, it all balances out with Cruel Angel Thesis as an insert song, sung by birthday girl Hinagiku (alongside a little bit of fluid animation).
It looks like next week we’ll get our Hayate/Hinagiku encounter, though it won’t involve much violence from what was shown in the next episode preview
Also, K-ON gets a cameo appearance in a Japanese university’s website.
I hope the scanslators catch up to the modern Hayate manga soon…still a volume or two I think we’re missing out on.

git sac is one of my favorite animes(the whole gits actually). i still havent watched season 1 straight through yet. i have to buy that 1st season. i have 2nd gig already. actually i was watching season 1 last week from this torrent i dl and tell me why when i got to ep. 17 the fucker whoever uploaded it repeated older eps. i was on ep. 17 but it was playing like ep 10. and its like that for the rest. wtf!!! now i have to find another torrent. its funny how were on ep 17 also:rofl:. i really need to hit up best buy and do some big anime shopping.
