I finally saw the first episode of lucky star. it felt like it took forever to watch yet when it ended I was left feeling like it flew by.

also, Ronin Warriors is awesome. and Better Cheddars are the bomb, a little too salty though. I can’t choose between them or Cheez-its for cheese flavored snack cracker supremacy.

Was definately right to stick with Utawarerumono, it’s really good although there was one thing in I think ep 8 which bothered me.

Indeed. The first 4 to be exact. The director for those episodes got fired because they were so terrible!

Wow that seems a bit harsh on him, found them pretty good myself, I mean the rest was better but one of the most memorable things I found from Lucky Star was the chocolate cornet disgussion lol.
Yeah, I watched the first episode and felt like my soul was being sucked out. I’ve been told it gets much better…never got the courage to try it again. But man, was that an awful episode.
The Anime pales in comparison to the game, as most Eroge Animes do.

Well, the guy moved on and directed Kannagi, which had a good amount of success. So he’s doing fine without Kyoani.
Watched the 1st two OVA episodes Dogs: Stray Dogs Howling in the Dark and they were pretty nice. And violent. Plus, Badou’s cigarette obsession is hilarious.
Shame that it’s only 4 episodes in all, though. Could work as a 13 episode series later on.
I’ll never understand how Gintama is so random. Especially episode 113.

I like how when it gets serious it still brings in the comedy each episode. Shame people aren’t giving it much of a chance outside of the character intro episodes (and yes, they aren’t as funny as the later ones).

Yeah heaven forbid the show be faithful to the source material. Those first 4 episodes where great. After he got fired we got to deal with it becoming the Konata X Kagami show. I mean I love all of Lucky Star but KyoAni sold out on that one to fanboys and self referentials and when you really looks at the show as a whole it’s pretty sad.
the part where the green haired character kept coming in and out of the convenience store for the sale was prob the most funniest things i saw in lucky star.
