I can honestly not think of a more horrifying situation than being forced to watch the entirety of a show like strike witches with my parents/grandparents…or any ecchi/harem/ero anime for that matter. I don’t even know how I could begin to defend my tastes. I mean, even if it was something family friendly like k-on (incidentally, that show shouldn’t be) they’d still want to put me into therapy for my religious attitude towards childrens cartoons.
I always feel uncomfortable watching anime with anybody. Someone always has to say something and they can never just watch the show. I remember watching Ninja Scroll with a friend and they kept saying something when that chicked kept getting molested.
